It’s a nice course, the greens are super fast and don’t break the course is weird with how it’s designed and shaped. But over all not bad. In my opinion it is not worth the money they ask! But nice cource
Wide open but tight
Whomever laid out the course should be fired. I’ve never heard “fore left” and “fore right” more often on a course in my life. Had a ball fly over our cart and fall short 10 yards of our cart.
While the course has few trees or obstructions, its layout puts you toward other golfers often.
Price is commensurate with the quality but ranked #4 public course in the Burgh has me wondering.
Greens are good and considering time of year (early March) it was in decent shape. No bunkers had rakes so that was a joke in terms of quality lie. Guess I shouldn’t have hit 2 in 18 holes. My fault there but geez, with no takes, every lie was horrible.
Was visiting area abs I wouldn’t okay it again.
Great for March
Very impressed with course conditions this early in the season. Restaurant was expectedly closed but overall, a great experience.
We loved our round
Quicksilver is one of the best courses I’ve played. It’s a fantastic layout and is more than sufficiently challenging.
Excellent
Pace of was great tee off early did 18 holes in 2and half hours. Amazing greens and fairways
Great place to play a wonderful round of golf.
Course was in immaculate condition for this time of the year. Although the greens had been aerated they were still in pristine condition. I would recommend this course as being one of the premier courses in the area.
Great golf course
Quicksilver Golf Course is just a fabulous place to play a round of golf. The layout is just tremendous. The greens were in excellent shape. I rate them to to be a top 5 course in Western Pa.
Beautiful facility
Third time playing this course and is always in impeccable condition. Staff is friendly, helpful and attentive to your needs.
Staff Friendliness
Very windy the day of play. I'm old and wear hearing aids. I took the starting ticket outside to the starter who was sitting about 15 feet away from me. He said something about the carts to take, but with the wind blowing all I heard was the wind. I came closer and he said in a rather sarcastic voice, do you have your hearing aids in? This man could use a refresher course in customer relations.
Also, my fouresome caught up to a twosome that spent an inordinate amount of time either searching for golf balls or waiting to hit their shot when they were over 300 yards away into a 30 mph wind. No ranger in sight!
The course is an excellent layout and was in very good shape for the time of year. Just unfortunate a couple of issues put a damper on the day.
One of the best public courses
The course was in a very good condition. The stuff very friendly and professional. The driving range is in a poor condition, terrible downhill layout so it is difficult to line up your shots . The range balls are found on the golf course.
frost delay
Outside of the frost delay and jam it caused on 10 and 11...always love playing this course
Overall Rating
The two groups in front of us played extremely slow which made for a long day. We had to wait on every hole. Also, the greens are usually very nice, but didn’t realize that they were just aerated. Made for a tough day putting. Other than that the course is absolutely exciting to play.
Rating
Would have been a 5 but green were un-playable due to aeration. Knew that going in and green fees were discounted.
