Course Doesn’t exist
It’s under renovation for the next 2 years. Were new to the area so we had no idea and golf now made it look like just another course. I paid for myself and 3 players and lost $140. Called golfnow customer service to try and ask for a refund or some kind of credit, the guy barely spoke english and didn’t help at all. Do not book this course
Don’t play here!
The greens are riddled with mold and fairways are basically cow pasture like. Could not even putt out on most of the greens.
Run Down
Back 9 isn’t bad. They just need to clean up the greens and have a steady pace on them all. Some are lightning fast and some are super slow. The front 9 is in really rough shape. I’d play the back 9 as a last second round, but definitely not one of my first choices.
Refuse to offer refund on a closed coruss
I booked this place on 09/01/2024. 2 tee times to be exact. I show up and the course is closed and all my efforts to get a refund have not been successful so now myself and the person I was playing with is out of the money spent.
Some improvements made - a work in progress
I’m super excited to come back and play this course in the spring when things are growing again. A lot of horrible conditions, but much improved from 2 months ago. I can tell they are trying. Still, tee boxes and greens are the name of the game. Rough condition on those, but one of the best laid out courses around. Would be a beauty if the grass was in better shape! Don’t worry about fixing the cart paths, just focus on the tee boxes and greens :) Great views and course layout.
I almost forgot what grass was by the time I left
36 bucks for a 15 dollar round. They don't sell premium balls or equipment, Fairways and rough are identical, greens are trash, sand is a brick. Layout is cool, just needs to be invested in.
3rd time playing this course
Is it my imagination or did they add a little pond on one of the back nine par 3's? Now that's what I'm talking about put effort into something that you love and it'll pay off in the long run. Great Jon guys!!!
Back for more
2nd time playing this course only because I thought that I could do better after my first round. I didn't, shooting a 9 on that tough uphill par 3 and a dreaded 13 on #7! I still really like this course however just don't play with orange colored balls this time of year.
Nice course for the money
First time playing in SC and I really hope that course can succeed but everyone knows what this course needs work.
Spend a few more dollars
This course needs lots of attention. I have played it off and on over several decades. This was the worse I have ever seen it. Disappointed even with the hot deal price.
Work in Progress
This course used to be literally unplayable for certain holes. They staff have made noticeable improvements but this course still has a little way to go to get where everyone wants it. If they keep making improvements it will be a great course for sure.
