Found a lot of balls while looking for my ball! Tough course, but so much fun!!
Fun course
Navigating cart paths to find holes is rather confusing on this course, but the fairways & greens are very nice. The ‘no trespassing’ billboard on the back nine is quite aggressive and ugly... it’s alarming, unwelcoming, tacky, disappointing & unfortunate for the otherwise beautiful Southern Hills Golf Course community..

Very friendly staff and course that gives you the true feeling of being in the Black Hills!

Perfect ready to play. You don’t feel like you’re being watched constantly and rushed along. Friendly place. Beautiful fairways and greens
Diamond in The Hills
Great elevation changes. Beautiful scenery. Friendly staff. Course in very good condition. Greens were really nice. Layout was challenging. Driving range was in need of some work.
Love this course
I have played most of the courses in the Black Hills and this is the best. I even witnessed a hole-in-one on hole 8 this last round. If you have the means go!
Beautiful scenery
FYI: Clerk at checki-in would not honor Golf Now’s receipt I presented, therefore had to pay green fees at course. Now when receiving my credit card statement I was charged by Golf Now also. I am disputing this charge with credit card company. Will await their investigation.
If you like scenery
Hands down the most scenic course I’ve ever played on. A good mix of challenging holes and scoring holes. Every par 4 and 5 seems to have an extreme dog leg left or right so club selection is prevalent. Also this course will challenge your ability to play on sloping lies. Lastly there is no way anybody would dare consider walking this course, I’m pretty it was almost a 1/4 mile distance between a couple holes. So in conclusion a very scenic course with a good blend of challenging and easy(ish) holes.
