Raymond Memorial Golf Course

About
Raymond Memorial Golf Course, designed by Robert Trent Jones, is a rare find, which includes twin par-3 holes. Each par-3 hole is actually two parallel holes, complete with tees, fairways and greens. The idea behind this feature was to allow play to move at a more reasonable pace by allowing the faster players to advance ahead of the slower foursomes.
From the blue tees, this course plays to 6,864 yards, with a rating of 72.8 and a slope of 121. The large and contoured greens are raised and sloped from back to front. Sand bunkers protect the front side of all 18 holes.

This course is long!
This course was in great condition. Maybe the best of the muni courses right now. But as the title says, it's a long track. I drive the ball about 220 in play, and struggled to get to GIR from the white tees. The course is fair, and the greens are big so there's plenty of chances to score
prepaid online though Golf Now, but when checking in at the course was told no cart allow for that day, and no refund no credit either. So ended up walked 18 hole with a cart price
Nice course
I was visting the area for a family event. We had a foursome. We decided to move up to the seniors tees as it was windy and wet. Turned out to be a good choice under those conditions. Well maintained and nice layout for a public course. I do not get to Columbus very often but I would play this course again.
Great shape!
Can’t beat it! It’s in awesome shape. A must play this fall!
Raymond Memorial
Course is in fantastic shape. Greens are huge and well kept. Fairways and buckets are well maintained as well.
Pace...
The course itself was (as usual) in very good condition. However,, the pace of play was horrendous. It took 5 hours to play 16 holes and the only ranger we saw all day was the one who kicked us out on 17. Pretty sure the middle school match a few holes ahead of us on a Saturday afternoon didn't help the pace.
Good course but 5somes on course
Daughter and I played it. Good course, played it several times before. The problem was we were put out behind a 5some of slow walkers. We skipped them but when we made the turn there was angrier 5some of walkers who were just Austintown on the back 9. Very frustrating.
Great course in good condition
1st time playing course and would definitely recommend it.
Fantastic!!
it's really really good to playing golf here.
Coz good course, and outstanding green condition.
if i'd come again to columbus, of course i gonna go to this g.c. WHY NOT!!!?
Great Condition
Course was in great condition today. It was way better than a lot of other “premium” public courses around town. Fairways were being watered and looked great, greens were immaculate and hardly had any ball marks, and the traps had great sand and were in great shape.
