Woodstock Country Club is one of New England's top destinations for visitors, earning a spot on Golf Magazine's list of top 100 golf resorts in the world. Robert Trent Jones designed the course, taking advantage of the panoramic views of Kedron Valley and the scenic and varied terrain. The golf course has a classic design that stretches to just over 6,000 yards from the back tees. Though the holes may seem short by modern standards, you'll soon find out that they require thought and will test your shot-making skills. Water comes into play in the form of a long, meandering creek that traverses the length of the course. It feeds into a large lake that comes into play on the 12th and 13th holes. It's a challenging golf course but not overly difficult for the average player.

The staff is beyond friendly. The course is in amazing shape. The greens were rolling true.

I had a great experience with everyone I came in contact with at this course. Very friendly staff.
Course conditions were excellent - especially for this time of year.
Loved the bucket seats in the golf cart. Crazy comfortable!
Pace of play was a little slow but it was a great Fall day so not too bad to have to wait.

Some of the holes are short but require you to place your drives. A solid amount of risk vs reward.

Slow pace
Starter put 4 twosomes behind foursomes. Instead of grouping the twosomes to speed up play we waiting on every whole. Nice course but not worth what they charge.
Perfect place to play.
Was a great time, played early enough to miss the crowd. Great views of the foliage and of the course.

Not long and nice sized greens that hold shots. Some good doglegs and choices of irons or drivers off a number of tees.
Pretty flat course for.Vermont. i will definitely add it to my rotation.
Great Vermont Golf Course
What a treat Woodstock Country Club was to play this year. One of the few relatively level course, very much walkable. Course was in great shape, greens were true, fast and very challenging. Super minor complaint is that from the blue tees almost all the par 3s played 150 yards and hole number 3 is a very weird design. But those are tiny issues. Love love love the course and highly recommend it. Will play again.
Excellent condition
July of 2024 course was in excellent condition! Much better than in the past. Greens were perfect! We enjoyed the course very much!
Great Shape
The overall conditions were good. Bunkers have real sand nice and soft. Greens were moderately fast. Fairways were in good shape. A challenging course with stream that runs through it that you cross multiple times. Early in the season so there was no food at the clubhouse.
