About
Heatherwoode Golf Club in Springboro boasts some of the most well manicured greens and fairways in southern Ohio. This challenging course, which is the former host of the Nike Tour's Miami Valley Open, is one of Ohio's top 20 golf courses. Denis Griffiths designed the layout. He made the most of the lush, gently rolling landscape and its natural hazards. There is water on over half of the holes in the form of vast lakes and meandering streams. There are also strategically positioned trees looming beside the fairways and greens. The three sets of tees are are diverse enough to accommodate a wide range of skill levels. It is a popular place for tournaments and outings. Heatherwoode G.C. is conveniently located just a short drive from Dayton, Columbus, and Cincinnati.

Get the 4-wheeler
Well designed course that has some pretty cool amenities like a personal 4-wheeler/ATV to ride instead of a golf cart.
Very nice
I took 2 friends that had never played here, and despite the long drive to get there from Cincinnati, they felt it was well worth the effort and were pleasantly surprised.
Excellent
I feel satisfied whenever I go there. I like the kindness of the staff. The course layout is also very good. The course was wet because of the rain, but it was in good condition. It is a place I want to go often if I have a chance.
December golf in Ohio
Great course in great condition! The only anomaly was they didn't have any of the tee box markers out, so you had to choose where to tee off.
Great course, great value
Heatherwoode has always been a great course, and this was no different. We played in under 4 hours, the course was in perfect shape, especially th bunkers.

One of the best courses in Southwest Ohio. Very challenging but fair. i’ve played there many times and it’s always well taken care of.
Fall without Leaves
Great Course in fantastic shape! Hard to believe the greens keeper's had essentially ALL FALL LEAVES off almost the entire golf course! No small task!!!

Always nice, but...
I have always loved playing Heatherwoode. It’s one of my favorite courses and always in exceptional condition. They spent a ton of money on some very plush golf carts, however, the gps system and the restricted areas that lock up your golf cart are extremely annoying.
Fantastic Course
Absolutely beautiful course. Me and my partner were paired with two solos. Had a great time. Course is immaculate. The starter Maury is probably the friendliest staff member I have ever met on a golf course. Will definitely return.
Always a great course to play!
The course was in very good shape - a couple fairways were slightly beat up but judging by the number of people playing that’s somewhat understandable. Probably could be fixed by people reliving divots or putting down sand / seed mix. The pace was great...we never had to wait to hit a shot the entire day.
