Shores Golf
They’ve definitely done great with the upkeep of this course. Great from tee-box to greens. Water hazards, sand to watch out for, alone with doglegs each way make this course a blast. Beware though: You better hit the ball fairly straight or you’re definitely hitting a house! lol
Fun Golf Course
We look forward to playing this course when we're in the area. Fairways are wide and pretty forgiving but greens are challenging. Fairways are pretty bumpy so kind of a rough cart ride. The staff are supreme....friendly and accommodating. Now owned by Troon so hope that doesn't change the small town attraction.
Nice Course If in the Area
Mostly straight wide-open fairways. Fairways fairly bumby but ok to hit off of. Greens in very good shape. Not too much to choose from in this area. I would play it again...
Birthday weekend
The greens are fairly nice but the fairways are very bad. The front nine is good because of the trees give a real challenge. The back nine is so hard against the strong winds, and the fairways are very bad. Wonderful staff and overpriced, because it is the only course around.
Puzzling Maintenance
The front 9 was watered, the back 9 not. I actually prefer the unwatered maintenance.
The biggest negative is that one golf hole is squeezed between the canal and a city street.
I was hoping for a more dunelike terrain with the course this close to the ocean, but found a mostly flat terrain that would be easily walkable for almost all golfers.
