Hilly Course Under New Owenership
Course was recently sold and new owners were trying to make improvement. Course plays through hilly and flat portions. On my one play, several of the back tees had been abandoned, including one previous par 6 that had been shortened to a par 5. Worth a play for the hillier portion of the course that has several unique holes.
Great conditions and better views
Very fun and well maintained course at an awesome price. Great mix of challenging holes and fun tee shots. Awesome downhill par 3 on the back nine that feels like hitting off a mountain. Super friendly staff. Rented a house right on the course for a weekend with some friends and had a blast playing Creekside. Will certainly be back.
Great course with a great value
Course is beginning to come in well even though it is still very early season. Beautiful course and great layout.
Great Golf (and food) near Huntington, WV
Was in Huntington, WV for business and had a coworker recommend this course. Was very pleased. Several interesting and challenging holes the utilize the hilly WV terrain. Nice layout and course balance. Walked 18 in the late afternoon and had the place to myself. Great restaurant in the clubhouse with craft beers and BBQ.
Course is average
Not great, but not bad either. Course plays short even from the blue tees. We got around on a weekend in less than 4 hours so that's a big plus.
Considering the course had a torrential rainstorm 2 days prior, it was in good condition and played very fair.
Have played this course several times over the years and enjoy the course with the exception of a couple holes that I simply don't care for. The back nine does have a par 6 hole, which is unique to the area. Front nine is a somewhat tight par 34. The back is a par 37. Greens were in pretty good shape and medium fast. Enjoyable round played 18 holes in about 2 hours, playing as a single.
