Afternoon Golf
The course was gorgeous, with the changing leaves etc. It was a great afternoon of golf.
Such a shame
The course was once in great shape and has really gone to pot. Love all the mature trees and the layout itself is great. The course deserves to be in much shape. The greens are burnt out in several areas. A little bit of money would go a long way on this course. I live on the east side of Green Bay and would love to be able to golf here more frequently, but it’s just in such bad shape.
Terrible condition
The course is in terrible condition. Staff was okay but would water the hole as you’re teeing off. With so many options, probably one of the worst if not the worst course to play in Green Bay. Grass is literally dead on numerous greens
Tree lined course
Shorewood is a pleasant 9 hole course on campus of UWGB. Shorter course that requires more thought than distance off the tees. Small somewhat slower greens. Most holes are tree lined and make the course challenging, when off the fairway.
Srambled
Standing on the first tee at our teetime, we were told we could not tee off till the shotgun scramble on the course was complete, maybe 10-15 minutes. The group came up from the ninth hole to tee off on one, and spent 20 minutes drinking Jell-O shots and doing anything but golfing. Asking what hole they Teed off on they said 4. Meaning they had 3 holes to go a two least another hour. I have no problem with stupid drunken scrambles on the golf course. I do have a problem with GolfNow selling teetimes in the middle of them.

Nice course
Even keep the roughs cut reasonable, hard to loose a ball unless you go in a lake.
Great Morning for Golf
Tee time at 6 am and we actually teed off at 5:50am, the first tee time of the day. No waiting, we flew right thru and had a great time and scored fairly well. Finished round at 7:30, could have been done sooner but got tied up at No 2 looking for a ball, LOL...No complaints, love the course, it can be challenging due to the many trees and some tight fairways. If you accurate you'll score well.

Was a great day weather wise. Was slow play after we caught up to a group of 5 players in front of us. No ranger on course.
Glad we played Shorewood
We stopped at shorewood on our way through Green Bay. Course is built on a beautiful piece of land with a couple views of the bay on the campus of Wisconsin GB and even has a bar!. Some hilly holes present a fun challenge, and the greens were in great shape, very true and rolled fast enough. The fairways are in good shape but some of the rough areas had some hard ground,, but if you keep it straight your fine! Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys fun hilly layouts. Very friendly staff too,
As a student, there's nothing better than getting done with class and walking over to the course to play. You can't beat the student price and the regular price to play is very reasonable as well. The course is kept up fairly well. They're always looking to make it more friendly to all golfers. It may be short but it challenges you to hit tight tee shots and to be able to work the golf ball a little. They have a great food selection with burgers, sandwiches and pizza. If you're looking for a nice, cheap place to play, there's nothing better in the area!
Great Condition
Was a wonderful October day and the course was in excellent shape. Fairways were clear of leaves and greens were smooth. Had fun and played in less than 2 hours.
Always a fun course
Enjoy this course and the practice on my short game. Course in good shape and the greens tricky. Pace can be slow if guys hit it into the woods.
Nice course
I play this course often, but don't like the new 9th hole/practice range ball arrangement. Really changed the personality of the finishing hole and not to the better. The uniqueness of this 9 hole layout is slowing losing it's appeal. Fairways have some burnt spots, but greens in nice shape.
Great Value throuhg Golf Now- Nice Course
Course requires decent (straight) drives off the T or you could lose a few balls. Nice 9 hole with comfortable pace ... even with walkers in front and a foursome in front of them. Enjoyed the round.

Beautiful course to play
I enjoy playing this course lots of wildlife and a relaxing atmosphere. The course emphasizes accuracy with many elevation changes.
