A cool Donald Ross Design
Had the opportunity to play here as a member for a day experience. ( I believe they have off-season rates that you can play in September, just have to call the golf shop). Anyways back to the course it is a terrific shape exactly what you would expect from a private course. Great tee boxes, awesome fairways, thick rough, and those perfect greens that receive any shot well. Also greens that putt super smooth. Layout was pretty good some spot golf but mostly everything is in front of you, not super long and what from I heard they have cut down a bunch a trees to make things a little easier. To me the best part was the humps and bumps in greens. Not just boring back to front greens these had undulations and lots of humps and bumps which make chipping fun cause you can be creative. All in all this is your typical old school country club with that old school feel. Definitely a place to try and play someday. Glad I had the chance. Great work Kenosha Country Club.
