horrible spotty fields
very spotty greens and not a very good course would not recommend
Good course, bad golfers
Anything said in this review is not against the course or the establishment!
First, this is a beautiful, prayer friendly, and fun to play course. That being said, an overwhelming amount of the local community of so-called "golfers" that frequent this course are an absolute disgrace to the game. The overall educate is horrendous. The pace-of-play is terrible. The amount of drunk, roudy, yelling, screaming, and just downright inappropriate people is ridiculous. Ihave had/witnessed items stolen from me and others with me. Behavior by a vast majority of people on this course is completely uncalled for. I've witnessed drunk people crawling on the greens, crashing golf carts, throwing clubs, intentionally hitting balls at people including myself, and even fighting. Some have even tried instigating fights with myself and others in my group. Mind you, myself and those with me just want a quiet, normal round of golf. I should not have to spend 5 or 6 hours on a golf course waiting on others and doing everything possible to avoid inappropriate people. Again, I absolutely love the course itself and the establishment, but something needs to be done to monitor those on the course.
quick 9 holes well worth the money
I wanted to get in a quick 9 on a Saturday afternoon, and this course was everything I wanted plus. it cost less then $20 to walk 9 holes, I completed this in an hour 15, the staff was very friendly.
my only complaints are I wish there were drinking fountains along the course (it was a hot day and my water bottle only lasted until the 7th hole) and the golf now gps app needs to be updated for the course (it has 7 as a par 3 and 8 as a par 4, it is now the opposite)
I will come back to play again.
Do you want to play a true island green?
Forgiving fairways, straight puts, blue water, and good sand make Fox Hollow a local favorite. Course is know for good pace and great bar.
