Fox Hills Golf Center - Strategic Fox Course

Haven’t played a straight par 3 but was fun. I highly recommend!

Any course should warn or discount a round when the greens have just been aerated. This is especially true of a part 3 course. Think about why someone would be playing a part 3 course. The greens were almost unplayable. On top of that, we arrived a half hour prior to our 8:40 am tee time on a Saturday morning and no one was at the desk in the clubhouse to check us in. I found a young worker moving carts outside and he came in to check us in. He was friendly, but the course was clearly understaffed.

Played the strategic par 3 for the first time for some short game work. Very Beneficial and a Very Unique course. Very well maintained and a Friendly's Staff.

The course is great overall. There really wasn’t any longer par 3s I think there is a couple 120-130 yd shots but that’s the longest. Course conditions were great as well, you can tell that they take care of it often. The pace was just okay. Single golfer can run the course quick plus they book kick golf in with regular golf and they can play really quick. We were in a threesome, we aren’t very good at golf so needless to say we let 2-3 groups play through including a small soccer team of kick golfing kids (which was great to see for the first time, even offered to let us kick one). Overall I will be back but I will definetly try to book a less busy tee time so I have time to work on my short game.

I didn't expect much from the Strategic Fox, as most of my experience with par-3-only courses has been disappointing. This course is actually pretty interesting, though. It is missing some simple amenities, like ball washers on the tees. (The ball/club washer on my cart was bone-dry.) Pace of play was pretty quick, not surprising for noon on a Wednesday. Greens were a little shaggy, and on the slow side, but I'm not going to complain about that much.

Not sure who’s gonna get the meme from the title but to keep it short and simple this course was beautiful and overall a good time, staff was all nice and straightforward and would definitely come back again

First course I ever went to by myself and it was an amazing experience

This is a great par 3 course. However, the greens were recently aerated and every green was like putting on a peg board. I recommend this course, but probaly not until 2024 unless the rates drop. Fox Hills has great courses and the others are still at top quality. I get that greens should be aerated for sustained quality, but the par 3 course just isn't up to their normal standards at the moment.

This course is great for all ages and for levels of players. I like that I can work on my irons and short game, but yet still be able to use a wood here or there.
