Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club

Was staying on the resort. Rang ahead and got a tee time immediately. No one else around (it was 90 degrees) so skipped round in 2 hours. Course had just been aerated so got a reduced rate of $55. Other than the greens still recovering the rest of the course was in decent condition but the layout somewhat bland. Main issue though was with the lack of staff or information before playing. Checked in at Pro shop then saw no one until the round finished. No starter. No drink cart (it’s Florida in June!!!). No half way house open . No bar open. No one to tell you where the water stations or rest rooms were. No water or ice in the cooler on the cart. Probably just about worth the $55 but not a penny more. And just as an aside - as I was checking in at the Pro shop they were asking the father of a 7 year old kid to pay 45 bucks for the kid to play. Pretty poor that in an era of “grow the game” but guess that’s how you make a profit. Won’t be playing it again.

Played 36 holes there during a stay in March 2019. Was very hesitant because of previous reviews. I thought the course conditions were good, greens rolled nice and course had lots of water. Drawbacks were some of the bunkers needed more sand and a couple of the holes were on top of each other. Saw beverage cart numerous times, staff super friendly and helpful. I don't know if it's a $170 course, but again, it was winter time in Florida. I would go back..

If this was the only course open in the country I would not play it again once was enough. Conditions were poor, layout is open fields with split greens and split fairways. price to play was off the charts.. Staff not very friendly.topping it off I needed a golf glove lost mine and the price in the pro shop was $18.00. many beautiful golf courses in Naples Florida don't play Naples beach and golf

Don't believe the photos or the hype in the newspapers. It's a dried out track with holes going every which way. Very overpriced! Just completely redone with Nicklaus supervising, but it's in terrible shape already.

The condition of this course was totally unacceptable. They had just reopened and the seeding wasn't complete, it needed at least another 2 months growth. As a hotel guest I paid $75 which was a complete rip-off. Do not play this golf course

Don't rely on the GPS to find this course. After we arrived it took 10 minutes of phone calls and driving around to find the parking lot. The front nine was very disappointing condition wise. Greens overall were very very slow. Fairways had very little grass on the front. They got a little better on the back. All in all, I was disappointed in the overall experience and probably will not return,
