Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan - Pine Glen

About
Situated just outside of downtown San Diego, Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan (formerly known as Sycuan Resort) offers two 18-hole championship courses as well as Pine Glen, an 18-hole, par-3 course. It may not have the same championship status as the other golf courses but its beautiful landscape of mature sycamores, towering oaks, and natural rock outcroppings is anything but run-of-the-mill. The course relies heavily on the natural hazards provided by the mountainous terrain but bunkers have been strategically placed along the rolling, well manicured greens for added challenge. The layout is gentle enough for beginners but it also provides great practice for more advanced players looking to work on their short game or just squeeze in a quick, casual round. In addition to the three very different courses, Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan offers extensive practice facilities that include a grass driving range, a short game area with a sand bunker, and multiple practice greens.

Great Condition
Pine Glen has been changed from 18 to 9 holes and the layout redesigned. First time playing it since the change and the course looks fantastic! If you are looking to practice your short game, this is a good track to do it. It’s a Par 3 course so we finished in about an hour walking.
Great time
We needed a shirt game tune up. Just wish it was 18 short holes instead of 9.
Pine Glen
Staff did an excellent job Taking the course from 18 holes down to nine and still making it a very enjoyable day of play. Fairways are in great shape, greens are in great shape, course overall is really fun to play! I will be back!
Nice Par 3
...but only par 3s. Very short course, well maintained and beautiful scenery.
Solid Par 3 Course
Overall the course was in great condition. A solid par 3 with well manicured greens and tee boxes. Overall was a quick round and got through 9 fairly fast. Not much to each hole as they’re all pretty similar but good views and a fun round.
Best par 3
This par 3 is my favorite in San Diego. Course is well maintained all around. Pace of play is perfect even with some beginners around. Restaurant/bar after always hits, food and drinks are all amazing.
Beautiful course
10/10 highly recommend, can’t wait to return to CA and play there again.
It's NINE HOLES
The course info showed 18 furlongs, but the course was rebuilt and is now a 9-hole track (they are building the new SDFC training grounds on the old back 9). The course condition was great (it's only been open 2-1/2 weeks per the pro). Longest hole is around 165 yards depending on the tee location.
The new tee boxes were in good shape and the greens were great.
However, it's only NINE HOLES and we were done in 80 minutes (we were messing around a bit).
Buyer beware.
