The stunning fourth. Tricky, strategic and exhilarating. Yet fatal on the left side. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 04/23/2021

Eight. Bold 3-par of 204. You’ll need a fine tee shot to keep the wolf at the door. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 04/23/2021

Eleven. Solid tee-to-green test. Hitting and putting this green are the keys. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 04/23/2021

Thirteen: Wedging into a green pared down to essentials: a frontal bunker, a narrowing surface, then a big backside falloff. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 04/23/2021

Sixteen. Dr. Hurdzan’s greens resemble those of Donald Ross: crafted, meticulous, well-contoured. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 04/23/2021

Eighteen. #2 index. Problems galore. As at all par-5’s here, playing the angles well may save you from disaster. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 04/23/2021

Great course
Course was in great shape. Love the grass driving range. Pin placements were little tough, as the greens were super fast, and some holes, ball rolled off the green with very little space.
Pretty good
First time playing here, not bad. Interesting layout, greens were in good condition but sort of slow. Pace of play on the front was good (about two hours) but the back was 2.5 hours plus, waiting on almost every hole. They need a marshall to help move things along. Lastly, they don’t serve beer/alcohol (dry county) so you need to byob, which is allowed. Overall, a good experience and I’m likely to go back, probably in the fall.
Be careful how you book a tee time.
I booked online from your website and it was $50.00 with no discount for senior or super senior. Booking online from your website is very misleading. It will be a long time until I play at your golf course again. I will also let my golfing buddies know.
Enjoyable Round
Course was in great shape and the greens were rolling well. Always a great round at Pilgrims Oak.
Bluebear
Great course and conditions ideal for summer golf . Staff was great .
I found a new favorite course...
Absolutely love the course. Big fan of link style courses and this is best in area that I have played. Tee boxes were in really good condition. Fairways were tight and the greens were fast. Hills and valleys are beautiful. Can't wait to go back. Today was my first time but definitely not my last...Go Play It.
I’m glad I came back here again.
This place came along way since the last time I played here around 2010. The course looks and played great. If you hit the fairways off the tees. You should score good. You might have trouble off the tee if you spray the ball off the tee. There are some really nice holes here. The greens where the best i played all year. And they are multi level on greens. Some will make you 3 putt. Maybe more. I thought Hole 12 the par 3 is amazing par 3 and hole 6 the Par 5 was my hole of the day. If you haven’t played here. Go, you will be happy you did. I played the white tees and ended up with 43/42. Card says white: 6206. Next time im playing the from Tips. Blue: 6755
Somewhat hidden gem
“A Dye Course without the sadism” is how I would describe the course. Fun, challenging layout, opportunity to hit every club in the bag and play multiple styles of shiort game shots. Smallish, undulating greens with good pace. Most of the challenge is in front of you, just have to play the correct shot.
Always top notch
The course is always in good condition and a good challenge for even the most experienced players. One of my favorites in Lancaster county.
$10 and hour ain’t bad
Course was immaculate and greens were rolling 10-12 even after morning drizzle. Staff was warm and welcoming. Value under $60. Too bad it took over 5 hours to play… will play earlier next time.
