Terrible shape
Stay away from this course all burned out, only green grass on this course is crab grass no fairway or tee box irrigation and still charging full fee to play. 15 very disappointed golfers
Decent Course and Value
This was my 2nd time playing, the first back in May. I don't know what the other reviewers saw but I saw nothing they describe. I don't recall any burnt out tee boxes or such and the course was cared for and green. <shrug>
It's got a decent price and amenities. Large clubhouse and eating area, although the atmosphere is really nice, covered, the food quality wasn't great. Both my brother and I felt it was edible but not notable.
the front 9 are open and sunny, back 9 get tighter in the woods. water comes into play a few times, as do those trees if you are wayard on the back 9.
I think it's a good mid level challenge and one I can enjoy and take relatives with high handicaps and we all enjoy.
5+ hour round of golf :(
Round was 5 hrs. 15 minutes - no rangers ! Condition around the greens was poor, although the greens themselves were in very good condition. Nice layout but I will not play where there is no regard for the pace of play.
