My Favorite Golf Course!
I have played the Ole Miss golf course many times from 1976 to the present day! I last played in May of 2024. It was much harder to play back in the 70’s, and I was much younger and a better golfer back then. It is an incredibly good golf course with wide fairways, trees, and challenging greens. There is very little flat ground and that is what makes Ole Miss golf so much fun. The long ball folks will have fun, but this course will test your short game! Yes, I am an Ole Miss alumnus and if I did not live 2400 miles away, I would play the Ole Miss golf course every day! In May 2024, the course was under low clouds and damp. The fairways were rolling slow, but the turf was nice, and the greens were smooth. I shot eleven over par, at 66 years old and my handicap is fourteen, I was happy!
Nice course
Just hours after TS Beta I played the back nine.
Cart path only... very little standing water.
Greens were very fast.
Can only imagine how fast they must be when dry.
Highly recommend.
Would definitely play again.
Outstanding College Course
This is a great course. If you are in Oxford for a weekend, take the time to play here. The Course is always in great shape. I played here frequently for the four years I was in college at Ole Miss. It's a fun track, and the pace of play is always quick. I highly recommend this course
