Fun and fast- 4 hour round. Despite the greens having been recently aerated, they were in great shape.
Very flat
Very short grass with no rough to speak of. If you’re not used to very tight lies, you’ll struggle with chipping. Shortest tees are 5600+ so not as much of an advantage for my wife. Course would do well to add a forward tee box.
Slow play
After 4 hours and 45 minutes I quit at hole 14.
3 to 4 group wait on every par 3.
Bruno
Nice, forgiving course. Busy, but pace of pay was good. Fairways and greens in good shape.
Great course, great value.
Open, forgiving, not a lot of trouble. Really good shape considering we're in a drought. Read the Golf Now summary, it's totally accurate.
Good day
Greens are hard and very fast course is in overall good condition lot of fun
Fast walking
Went out with 3 walkers and a cart at 12:30. Great pace of play, done in 3 and a half ours.
The greens are terribly fast and really don’t hold in coming shots well, otherwise a great day
Slow back 9
Front 9 was acceptable but the back 9 was really slow with a 4 person group holding up 4 final groups from finishing their round. No one in front of that foursome for 5 holes. No marshall on site to speed this group up so everyone could finish Grrrrrrr
Good Muni
Very busy, but got off on time and played in 4 hours flat with not golfing well on the front 9. Paid $50 and were expecting less!
Cart guy was a hard worker, running carts from the time we got there till the end of the day.
Great Muni
My first time playing Encanto and was quite surprised - in a good way.
Greens were firm and FAST...loved it
Fairways were green and in very good shape, get off fairway and you could get sketchy lies.
Great course!
I love the course! The greens are really quick but fair. Course is in excellent shape!
I had a blast year. Good course. I am defiantly coming back. I played with 2 different groups of people as my original group left after 9. I joined another group and they were great too. I am a new golfer and this course was perfect for my skill level.
Need Rangers
I loved the course but need Rangers to guard the course from outside passerby's.
my Golf cart was stolen by a 10 year old minor, thankfully other golfers from another hole saw it and were able to stop the person from stealing my cart and taking all my belongings.. this occur on Par 3 hole #14.
Van Edmonton
I was the only one in my tee time that showed up so I played as a single between two foursomes, not ideal.
Got slow after the front 9 so I replayed the front rather than wait on the back
Slow play
Ended up following Junior College men and women. What are we teaching our young players. Slow play is never acceptable. Unless you want fewer players and less money in golf speed up these players. Golf courses are charging between 20%_40% higher. Slow play and outrageous costs will end profit in golf and as a result close courses. Teach our young players to play faster and benefit us all.
