Wikenburg course

Nice course. You have to play target golf - fairways are narrow and greens are small. Shorter than normal course and that’s OK. I did better on the back 9. Will try to come again.

Average course with pretty views

This is an older course with an outdated clubhouse. You will be driving on gravel and there is sand throughout the course, so definitely a desert feel. Some holes have elevated tee boxes, which makes for spectacular views. We got a decent rate through golf now, and enjoyed a beautiful afternoon.

Narrow fairways but not difficult

Our first time at Wickenburg. Very friendly and accommodating pro shop and restaurant staff. Other than the rather rugged cart paths the course was in good condition.

A True Test for Golfers – Wickenburg Country Club

If you’re looking for a golf course that will truly challenge your game, look no further than Wickenburg Country Club in Wickenburg, Arizona. This course offers a perfect balance of beauty and difficulty, making it a must-play for golfers who are up for a challenge.

From the tee box to the green, every hole at Wickenburg Country Club forces you to think carefully about your shots. The layout is both strategic and demanding, with narrow fairways, well-placed bunkers, and tricky doglegs that keep you on your toes. The greens are fast and require precise putting, adding another layer of challenge to the round.

The desert landscape surrounding the course creates a stunning backdrop, but don’t let the beauty fool you—the course doesn’t give you many breaks. Water hazards, elevation changes, and the occasional crosswind make accuracy and course management absolutely essential. It’s the kind of place that rewards those who can control their ball flight and stay focused on every shot.

Despite its challenging nature, the course is incredibly rewarding for those who enjoy testing their skills. The staff is friendly, the facilities are top-notch, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming. Whether you're a seasoned golfer looking to fine-tune your game or someone who loves a good challenge, Wickenburg Country Club will not disappoint.

Wickenberg

Great layout. Somewhat Target golf but not like many desert courses. Relatively easy carries over the wild stuff. Fast greens that did not hold on this day. I will play the course again.

Huge potential

Course has great potential. It does need some TLC. My first thought after playing it is that if I were going to buy a golf course where minimal investment could take it from good to outstanding, this would be it.

Target Golf For Sure

Play this rather challenging Target golf course in very nice conditions. The tea boxes were fine, the fairways were good, and the greens were in great shape. The greens were a little tricky because of subtle breaks around the holes. Overall, a great golf experience playing a tight course.
