Wickenberg

Great layout. Somewhat Target golf but not like many desert courses. Relatively easy carries over the wild stuff. Fast greens that did not hold on this day. I will play the course again.

Huge potential

Course has great potential. It does need some TLC. My first thought after playing it is that if I were going to buy a golf course where minimal investment could take it from good to outstanding, this would be it.

Target Golf For Sure

Play this rather challenging Target golf course in very nice conditions. The tea boxes were fine, the fairways were good, and the greens were in great shape. The greens were a little tricky because of subtle breaks around the holes. Overall, a great golf experience playing a tight course.

Golfer with 6 handicap index

Old carts, narrow fairway on some holes, undulating greens. Target golf, Built on side of mountain. Holes are hilly w/elevation tee off 8AM from Blue Tees 6320 yds. Frost Delay of almost 2 hours. tee'd off at 9:45AM. Beautiful views and nice track could make this one of the best courses in the area but not investing in manicuring the course make this a course that would not be recommended unless you are used to a sub-par course.

Fun, challenging course

A friend and I drove from Prescott to play in warmer weather. The ladies group scheduled to tee off ahead of us ask if we’d like to go ahead of them. Very nice of them. We had a great time. Lost some balls but not really being familiar with some landing spots. we will be back

Sorry that our course beat you up, but that is a common frustration for golfers that have not played a lot out here. Based on the yardage, it shouldn't be THAT hard...but it certainly can be! Thanks for taking the time to leave a review and rating. We hope your next visit doesn't leave you feeling beat up.

Quirky layout but a real test

We only solid the front nine there is quite a bit of construction surrounding the course and it could use at least another set of Ts.

The layout is certainly different from most courses. I hope you were told about the blue/white combo tees which provide a little length on the shorter holes. If you are looking for something longer than our blue tees, then you are looking for nothing but trouble! Thank you for the review and rating! Hope to see you again soon.
