Play elsewhere - too expensive for what it is.
Go play elsewhere.
Played on recommendation from a friend who played here a few years back(good golfer).
He was shocked to hear my feedback. Guess this place has fallen off badly - staff was perfect representation
Course was mediocre at best for $170. Would not want to play here during summer.
The staff was confrontational when asked about the range balls including in the booking… we were told to prove it(it’s on their website as an fyi).
NOT WORTH THE MONEY
STAY AWAY! This course is not worth the money. The staff are surley, arrogant and unfriendly. The pro shop closed at 2:30pm; no one was there, and it was locked up tight. If your cart died on the course at 3:00 pm, you were you of luck. The condition of the golf course is mediocre at best. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend to anyone that they come play here.
Great track. Need to reopen bar/restaurant
Green fees on the high side. Facility has never re-opened after COVID shut down. Paid $30 for a Bloody Mary (well vodka) which was ridiculous! There doesn't seem to be much customer consideration in the running of the facility. Too bad. The potential is there.
Terrible Customer Service
The man working in the pro shop on the morning of Feb 28th was very rude and unfriendly. I asked about balls for the driving range and he said the maintenance would come by in 15 minutes. I asked what the charge was and he told me I was asking too many questions and he did not like questions.
The customer in the pro shop with me also commented on the man’s rudeness. After I left he also told the customer that I was an old man who asked too many questions. What is an employee for - if you cannot ask him anything.
This kind of employee behaviour does not belong in a golf pro shop (or anywhere for that matter).
I have been playing golf for 50 years and have never come across a pro shop employee who was so rude and unfriendly.
I think Angeles National Golf Course should seriously look into his behaviour.

Keeps getting worse and worse
I dont know what is going on there, but the conditions are steadily going downhill and yet they have raised their prices. Took over 3 hours to play the front 9 (back 9 that day) meanwhile there was hardly anybody out on the back. Nobody around to help move things along. Disappointed.
Don’t pay $175
Course layout was great and the aesthetics were also nice. Definitely some potential but most certainly not a premium price course with the conditions.
There is literally no grass on the fairways, aprons, around the greens or in the “rough”. I couldn’t believe they charged us $175 each to play a course with no grass.
This is a $50 course max. Please grow some grass!
Fun course, not crowded.
Played a fun round here. Pace of play was great. Nobody in front of us or waiting behind us.
my favorite stadium
The bunkers in the second half need to be replaced with real sand instead of the current stones. The current bunkers are full of stones and the clubs are broken! Everyone needs to clean up all the stones in the sandpit! This way the stadium business will be better!
What happen to this place?.
I played here a couple years back.
During the pandemic. It was my first time playing the course over a $100 AND IT WAS WELL WORTH IT!!! I'm not sure what happened since then, but I wouldn't pay anything over $70 now. It's sad to see this course going down the drain.
horrible
This such a ripoff golf. The fair is cover with bird poop, no exaggeration, fully cover with dumps. The fairway grass is like a 8 dollar mini course. 175 dollars for a course with the name “national “ is totally a ripoff. Never go back
good track. Need some TLC.
Fairways total winter conditions. Thin. Lots of mud balls even though no rain. Stupid pin positions for a holiday - lots of corner and right off edges. Very thin lies around the green. No sand in the bunkers for most greenside bunkers. Lots of sand in fairway bunkers lol.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced during your visit and appreciate your feedback. We will take your comments into consideration to improve our course conditions in the future.

Okay, but not worth the price.
Simply not worth the price. The tee boxes, fairways and greens aren’t maintained well enough for what you pay.
Hello, Thank you for taking the time to review and leave your feedback on your recent round with us. It is always our utmost goal to provide our golfers with a fun and enjoyable time and we apologize if we missed the mark. Please feel free to reach out to our staff in the pro shop with any additional concerns. Thanks for choosing our course.
Very Challenging
Let me preface by saying I’m relatively new to golfing but I’ve played difficult courses around LA. If you’re experienced and good take this on. Otherwise stay away.
This is a course for above avg/experienced golfers only. Beyond difficult for someone without all the tools and experience.
No room for any errors.
It’s a beautiful landscape.
Pace of play was fine.
The fairways were in bad condition even for winter.
No cart service on the course.
$110 for Winter midweek.
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us, dgoshilla. We are going to pass on your feedback to the team. Thanks for visiting Angeles National Golf Club, and we hope to see you again in the future.
Disappointing conditions
I’ve played this course about 8 to 10 times now. I remember telling everybody about this course the first time I played it which was two years ago. Telling everybody about the fairways & greens and how manicured it was but ever since then it seems like this course is going downhill fast. Very disappointing because I still remember those first couple of days and have NEVER seen the same conditions since. I only play on the cheapest hot deals I can find. Not worth anything else
Angeles National
Very convenient to Hollywood downtown only about 20 to 30 minutes. Definitely a California desert course greens were really good shape, fairways were good but a little dry and hard. Very challenging as they suck up blind shots off the tea and the greens. Would’ve been nice to have a starter or a beverage cart.
Good course
Angeles National is a good course that could be better. The layout is fun. Some areas are a bit confusing, but nothing bad.
My biggest gripe is the fairways. Most of them are yellowing and many areas around the green are very tight due to a lack of healthy grass. Most bunkers were fine, although a few fairway bunkers were a little rocky and played as “Ground Under Repair”.
The best aspect of this course is that it is close to Los Angeles. Ojai Valley Inn and Oak Quarry are much better courses and usually cheaper to play, but they are about twice as far from LA.
Overall, ANGC is worth playing for about $100 on the weekdays, but $165 for a round is definitely not worth the money.
We apologize for the negative experience you had at our golf course. We appreciate your feedback and will work hard to address the issues you mentioned. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
