Park Hill Golf Club

About
Editor's Note: Course closed for the 2019 and 2020 season.
The golf course at Park Hill Golf Club is a regulation length 18-hole course that is open to the public. It is 7,268 yards from its longest tees, playing to a par of 72. Clark Hamilton designed the course that opened in 1931. The course is relatively flat and features many bunkers. In later renovations to the course, over one hundred trees were planted to liven and enrich the landscape. A lake provides water hazards that come into play on two of Park Hill Golf Club's holes. The well-kept course is good for beginners or for any level of golfer who is looking to get some good practice.

Love this course but it got slow
Play here a lot because it’s fun and usually plays at a decent pace. Today got 3 groups backed up on the 6th tee, stayed that way through 9. Stopped in clubhouse at the turn and they said they’d get things moving. The same group that was holding things up were still 2 holes behind and the cause of a five hour. This type of stuff gives golf bad rep.
Everything is slow
Had an 8:00AM tee time, really had no notification that our tee time was up. The speaker for the outdoor was pointed to the front of the building, 1st tee is in the rear of the building. Starter was OK but never got out of his cart, never explained anything about the course, talked to us about the highway being closed, again?? This really is not a bad course but the conditions are not good, tee boxes very furry, bunkers atrocious, and fairways, meh...Pace of play was terrible, we finished at 12:55PM, nearly 5 hours after starting, no marshall for the course. Group in front went in at the turn and tried to get food, took an insane amount of time and backed us up even more. Won't be back!!!
Good course for novice player, level terrain and few hazards.
The staff was friendly and accommodating to our needs. For the price I would play here again.
Fairway and green are very good condition.
Nice course layout to minimize travel time from green to the next tee box.
Nice local course at a good price.
Course is in good condition overall. Tees, fairways and greens in very good shape. Cart paths could use some TLC.
Bar and restaurant is nice and the staff is very nice.
The trains passing by on a regular basis adds a nice atmosphere. (Unless they sound off during your backswing!). :-)
Good deals are often available to save money.
Do better
The greens are in good condition finally. The couse is dry and not taken care of, green fees are high for the condition of course and slow play.
Good Course for the Money
Greens and fairways are in good condition and pace of play was excellent.
Great value for the course
Traveled to Denver for a family function. decided to bring my clubs and try out various denver courses. found this place. firstly, being from NYC, no grass ranges, so this place already had me smiling. Staff was great, got to play with some locals, and really enjoyed my time. One issue is that no netting along one of the holes next to the roads, so if you pull/hook, FORE!!! pretty level terrain. Great mix of holes for novice to low handicappers from the tips.. so nice, I played here twice, and dropped 10 strokes 2nd time out.
A good value. I recommend this course for average players like me.
The course was not too difficult and for a 20 handicapper like me, it was sufficiently challenging. It was a pretty good value. Traffic noise was the only negative.
driving range closed
When we arrived one hour early to use the driving range we were told it was closed for a clinic. It would have been nice to know ahead of time.
The person who checked us in was not helpful and not friendly. We had never played this course before. He acted like I was bothering him with my questions. Was not sorry about the range being closed. Just rude.
Good value local course.
Got a good deal on golf now. Did 18 in about 3 1/2 hours with one other person. Courses in pretty good shape, some traffic but essentially feel like you’re out on a golf course.
Greens are a little rough in spots but mostly the course in good shape. It’s long enough that you can break out the driver and the fairways are wide and forgetting. Fun time
Great value.
Nice course and a great value. Pace of play was very good. Our foursome played in 4 hours and 10 minutes. Very friendly staff.
