Two long par 4s (15 & 16) make for a meaty finish. Photo submitted by BrandonTuckerGA on 06/12/2017
Always Fun at Riverside
Staff is always friendly and being able to order food and drink online is so good! And the cart gal was present on several holes. Riverside is always a good time.
History
Playing here knowing its history was awesome.
Course was in winter conditions, they just aerated the greens that morning.
Fairways were as expected for the time of year.
Staff was beyond welcoming, even called to inform us they aerated, so we were not surprised.
We will come back in spring and summer to check it out again.
Open and fun track
Riverside tends to be my go to as an approachable and good course. It has difficult holes and some forgiving fairways. It tends to be in good condition. The greens were especially fast when I last played.
Decent course - better are out there
It was a decent course. I thought for the price and the course conditions, there are plenty of better options out there.
always fun
This course is always a good time. It's relatively open so it's forgiving but plays a little longer and if you don't hit long, llike me, that's where the challenge comes in. It has always been one of my favorites in ATX.
Muni Golf in TX After a Freeze
I didn’t ask but it appears highly likely that the greens weren’t covered during the most recent freeze. Completely bare areas on a number of them.
When things start to grow again, this course will be fun to play again.
