White Heron Golf Club
About
White Heron Golf Club (formerly known as Ridgewood Lakes Golf Club) has had many accolades over its history and for good reason. The Ted McAnlis layout is sculptured from lush rolling land and features immaculate playing conditions year round. Water and natural wetlands come into play on 16 of our 18 holes and the resident breeze can significantly change the course from day to day. Yet despite the natural beauty and obvious pedigree of the layout, with four sets of tees the course is still enjoyable for golfers of all levels.

Excellent value for money
Great course layout, greens ran true if a little fast. Friendly helpful staff. We played this course last year and were keen to play again
Would thoroughly recommend.
Played this track many times as Ridgewood Lakes....always fun. First time for "White Heron". Was somewhat disappointed, didn't like the changes to the new #18 formally #9.
Course was a little dry but greens were OK. Would play here again if price stays down around $50.00
Decent but needs some TLC
Booked this course last minute and got paired up with a friendly couple from Miami. As for the course the fairways need some work as well as the greens. The greens were very firm and almost impossible to get a ball to stop on them. The green were a little leafy is spots and every green had a light dusting of sand which made putting much harder. This course is a challenging course with narrow fairways on certain holes and lots of water hazards.
Changes to holes
The changes to the now hole 10 and now 18 have gimmicky effect on 10 and ruined a previous good risk reward par 5 18th turning it into a gimmicky par 4. The spent significant dollars to lessen the product quality in my opinion.
Superbe
Beau terrain avec un beau niveau de difficulté. Vert un léger travail à faire mais quand même en bonne condition considérant la saison
Accommodation by staff was great
Arrived and front nine was very busy. Starter allowed us go off back nine as a twosome which was great.Timing was grateful as we finished the backnine and was immediately able.to go off on the front nine
Completing the 28 holes in 3 hrs which was fantastic.
Firm greens
Nice pace of play here- 18 holes in 3 hours 40 minutes.
Greens were quite firm but rolled true- grain was a factor on these Bermuda greens.
Give yourself extra time before your tee time as clearing the gated security into the community can take some time.
Too Slow!
Pace of play was too slow - 9 holes in 2hrs 30min. and it only got slower. The staff was very accommodating and sent messages to carts and eventually the pro to tell a group to skip a hole and move on. Couldn’t enjoy or evaluate the course because of pace of play. The staff was accommodating the best they could. Off course amenities were nice.
Awesome place
Very nice golf course and the employees were very professional.
Exceptional staff. Glen was very knowledgeable and .
Members run course
We played as a 2 some behind a 4 some and we were waiting on every hole but was not allowed to play through. We did not see anyone ahead of the group. Even on the tee box on the 18th hole one of the players decided to give a lesson to another player which resulted in the player hitting several balls as we waited at the tee box.
Thank you for playing White Heron Golf Club,
I reviewed your tee time and saw that you were playing behind 2 twosomes that joined up, they were not members, also your round was less than 4 hrs. and because you purchased a hot deal you have to follow Golf Now rules, that is no preferential treatment or early tee times. We apologize for any confusion this might have caused.
Hopefully next time will work out better for you.
Thank you, WHGC
