Mission Bay Golf Course

A very interesting layout for an 18 hole executive course. Fairways and greens in excellent shape making it fun to play. For a non resident it’s a little pricey, but it is a very nice 18.

This is pretty much your working man's muni, so don't expect manicured fairways and tees, bunkers and spectacular waterfalls. In fact, no bunkers or water hazards at all. That being said, the greens are surprisingly fast and undulating, and several of the holes are good challenges. Pace of play was slow and no ranger in in sight. Okay for an economical practice round.

What a fun little find! Spent a week on Mission Beach and needed a fix. This fit perfectly. Fun layout. Great condition. Not full size, just what we all need-a relaxing good golf time

Came here in the early evening after playing 18 at Torrey Pines North earlier in the day. This muni isn't as well known as Torrey Pines but it's definitely a neat place. The course is lit until 9:30pm and it was pretty busy on this Saturday evening. I was generally impressed with the turf quality for how short it is. There are a couple short par 4s on each nine so you can hit some woods if you'd like. As non-residents we paid nearly $40 to walk it, so it's not the greatest value to play mostly par 3s, but it was a good hang. .

Love this course! I play here almost every Monday night as they have lights on the course (obviously). Greens are good and true. Fairways are well maintained. Rough is sometimes thick but usually just right. Great course to work on your short game and/or iron approach shots off the tee. There are 4 par 4s that some people can reach...eagle putt anyone? When I play I bring my driver, 3 wood, 8, 9 ,P, L, S, and putter. Bring a few extra balls if you play at night. Great course to bring your wife/girlfriend out to play with you. It is not as easy as it looks. I almost parred the course once but shot a 59...usually shoot 60-64. Great range facilities. Walk this course don't waste $ on the cart you won't need it.
