Overpriced
Course was being renovated on 10th and 11th holes. Course offered 10% off and free drink coupon (water, soda, or beer) but value still wasn’t worth the green fees. Could play a course just as nice for less than what I paid here.
Well maintained
Tustin Ranch is a well managed and maintained golf course. Although the greens had been recently plugged and sanded, they were in great condition. Holes 9, 11 and 18 are signature holes, challenging but fair with no sneaky hazards.
Sunny Skies at TR
First time playing this course, came here last summer to watch the outside events they host. Course looks nice on the surface but has some holes that need some attention. Little stiff with the $185-$200 price & not get a warm up bucket or waters inside your cooler. I would say the mid-week price is what weekends there should cost. But again.. it’s Orange County, very friendly staff & a beautiful clubhouse, Pro Shop & Restaurant. The first 6 holes are tough but then opens up & can be taken after that. I do like this course & if they offered a “little more” would be so worth the cost.
Nice Course, but $$$
Course was in good shape. A couple of greens (pin positions) were gimmicky. Had the group in front slow us down a couple of times otherwise would have been 5 stars. Ridiculous you had to pay to use practice area and range balls need replacing.
It's a Shame
To begin, I love this course - the layout, bunker locations, distances and variety of holes.
BUT...course condition is bad. Some areas get over-watered and most bone dry.
Would like to hit a wedge with grass under the ball
...not here!
This place to invest instead of reap
An excellent golf course with challenging and enjoyable
This is an excellent golf course. With its beautiful scenery and proximity to the city center, it offers a great playing experience. The main challenge lies in the greens – if you hit the ball straight onto them, it can be tough to stop. Therefore, it's crucial to select the right club for your approach shots, aiming to land the ball just in front of the green so it can roll onto it smoothly. The same principle applies to chipping; picking the right spot for your chip is key. Overall, this is a fantastic golf course that's both challenging and enjoyable.
Great Track
Played the blues, slope of 128…pretty straight forward and wide open course…water on 9 and 18. Greens are about a 10 speed, but there is tons of undulation on every green making it impossible to make putts sometimes. Overall a great track but $200 bucks is too much, sweet spot for that course is probably $150-$160
Disappointed
Got to course and two holes were closed. No notification on golf now. Even with the discount, far to overpriced and the replay holes didn't match closed holes.
Will likely not return.
OC Gem
As municipal courses go, Tustin Ranch GC offers playability with quality conditions, despite heavy traffic. They could use a range to improve pace of play but other than that absolutely no complaints.
Beautiful day in California
Came here just for a weekend .
Really nice course , would love to come back !
Friendly staff, a little slow pace .
Extremely overpriced
The ones setting price for this course are delusional.
Super Overrated
I booked a foursome and one of kids could not make it because he was sick but they still charged me.
Sadly, the course is not maintained well and the pace of play was terrible. So a very bad experience.
Avoid this course
I made a reservation on GolfNow for four but a player got sick and could not play.
The course charged me anyway and blamed it on Golfnow.
To make matters worse, the staff was rude. They acted like I was a burden.
Once I started playing, I was disappointed by the condition of the course and greens. The pace was terrible as well.
Just a very very unpleasant experience at an overpriced golf course.
SAD
even though I made a mistake and got my days mixed up and a foursome didn't show.I was disappointed that I had to pay full price.I spoke with both golf now and the pro shop ,both put the charge on each other.I guess this is the way of the world, which is sad.I have been a member at tustin in the past and a golfnow member .SAD if I did this in my business I would lose customers ,nobodyis perfect
