Nice course but!
I played this course many times in the last 10 years. It is always challenging and fun.
The greens were very nice and somewhat fast; however, the fairways looked dead or dying, and if they don't get water on them soo,n say goodbye to Eagle Glen
Not what expected
This courses website and cart GPS stress pace of play yet it took us 5.5 hours to play. We waited on every shot. The greens were in great condition but it looked like that is all they maintained. Not much grass in the fairways and very dry. The course layout was amazing. The layout is what would have me give the course a second chance.
5 1/2 hr round ...
Check in prepaid so no interaction with the Pro Shop.
Website stated there was a driving range found out there wasn't, they did have 3 hitting stations for a warm up session. Pls update your misinformed website.
Went to get our cart and 10 others were waiting, our tee time was delayed by 20 minutes, think about adding more carts.
Finally got on the course and on the 3rd hole waited with 4 groups to play the hole. Not a marshall in sight...
Greens were good, wish those "hacks" would learn to repair ball marks...hmmm.
Fairways were dry, hard pan lies and bunkers were inconsistent with some having sand, some having hard packed mud and others with wedge gouging rocks and pebbles...go figure.
5 1/2 hrs...really... unbelievable. Liked the layout, had some nice holes but until they change the way they operate I will take a " hard pass ".
Good luck to you future players...hope it's better for you.
Nice course, poor pace of play
Tee time was 3:06pm. Wasn’t able to get a cart until 3:20pm because of cart shortages, just to find out that the first hole was extremely backed up. Took three hrs to finish front 9, not a Marshall in sight to control pace of play. Was not able to finish all 18 holes which is a shame because it was an expensive course.
Long round
We paid $107 for 18 and it took 3 1/2 hours to finish 9. Extremely slow pace of play. We ended up having to eat the money and leave after 9.
Very slow day !!
This has always been one of my favorite course. It is a challenging layout- but very playable.
Today was not very pleasant. Tee times were running 30 minutes late - and play on the course was no better. Ended up being a 6 hour round- on a Thursday !! I know some people don’t mind spending the entire day on the course- my group doesn’t. Waits on every shot.
The course is in OK shape- but the fairways are sparse and thin because of the dormant grass.
Hopefully they find a way to speed things up.
Pace of play has changed a lot. Used to finish in 4.5 hours. Now every time out it’s 5.5-6 hours. Been this way for several months now. It’s a great course but the improvements they attempted have made it in worse condition. Sod sticking well above ground level. Greens are good. The Brown fairways are fine to play off as the ground is not hard in most areas. Seems like it’s just greed to pay for there construction of Pickleball courts. Way too many people being pushed out to play.
Very Slow
It took our foursome 3 1/2 hours to play nine holes on a Thursday! I was told the course went from 10 minute spacing to 8 minutes. In over 30 years I have never played so slow.
Worst shape in 8 years
This was by far the worst golf experience ever. 4.5 hours and only got 12 holes in. Backed up 3 groups on every hole. Course looked like trash. Resemble d more of General Old then anything. Fairways were dead and brown or dirt. No grass anywhere, can’t believe it how bad it got. Was not worth $25 let alone $60+. Very sad. Took 30 minutes a hole to play. I left after 12 holes and 4.5 hours. Greens were nice that was good thing. But the fairways were trash. I’ve never left a course mid round before. Called the pro shop. Never saw a Marshall come out. Won’t play here for a long time. Driving range was closed. No warning AVOID THIS COURSE
Love the Course
First thing you notice is the friendly staff.
Then you find out they don’t have enough golf carts. As they are pushing people off the first tee every 8 minutes. This jammed up the course and slowed play down to a crawl. It took over 5-1/2 hours to get through the course. The tee boxes were uneven and bare as were a lot of the fairways. The greens are tuff and fast, but true if you can read the lines.
I seriously love the course, but I’m doubtful that I’ll be back until they resolve some issues.
Slow Play
I really like this course. But, the fairways are dry and difficult to play off of them. The ridiculous slow pace made the round over 5.5 hours. Lack of golf carts cause a twenty minute delay to get started. They said they have a beverage cart, but never saw it. I’ll play here again, because the course layout is fun to play. But I’ll wait until well after summer.
Played this course many times but this was the first where we started 30 min after tee time due to lack of golf carts. Fairways poorly kept and dry patches.
Fun Canyon Course
Didn’t play well but really enjoyed the course. It really moves through the canyons and it is definitely a course that you need to be straight. There were a couple of dry spots in the freeway but the greens were in good shape. It is one of those courses where getting a round in will definitely benefit you the next time you play there.
This course needs serious upgrade
Used to be a very good trac in the area which I came to play a lot. The condition of the course right now really needs an upgrade all around except 18th hole which was the background of the wedding venue. the pace was slow - played front nine in 3 hours! Very disappointed.
