Cazenovia Golf Course

Caz has always been know as a city course with a country club attitude.
If you eliminate those who believe it is their course then you get a fairly good challenge of the course itself.
2 water holes that are challenging from different aspects,1st par 3 you need a SOLID tee shot. Hole 9 if you don't make that 2nd shot across the water you can put a real 'damper' on your round.
Elevated greens can be dicey if you miss your approach...
Snack stand is ok with service being so-so and employees being less caring about work and more about social media.

i've been playing this course for over 40 years and i have
never seen the course in worse shape than this year.
fairways are not cut regularly and were extremely high for
the tournament yesterday. the real rough is way to high for this course, players waste more time looking for balls just
off the fairways which slows the pace of play. imagine a tournament in july and we had to play winter rules because of course conditions. no longer worth the price to play.
the city better wake up or it will start to lose players.

I enjoy this course as a cheap place to play a quick 9 with friends. For the price I’m not expecting pristine conditions but I was disappointed to play on tee boxes that weren’t trimmed at all.

Very long course and only a few challenging holes. Most fairways are wide open and forgiving. Course is in very good shape. It is a fun course if you like to push your driver to the limit knowing you won’t be in serious trouble if you slightly miss fairway. It is a great course for average golfers.

Great layout good place for beginners but still challenging for a good golfer

The course is in great condition and well maintained.
We've played here a few times and really like the surroundings.

I think the course has existed for 100 years in one form or another. Mostly played by locals in very blue color area of South Buffalo. No dress code whatsoever, its mostly retires and locals playing a quick round. Most people were walking although carts are available. With Golfnow, i paid $11 for 18 holes and a cart.

Its a nine-hole course, you play it twice for 18. Greens were fair, fairways in pretty good condition. Pace of play was ok. You hit over a creek twice, otherwise no water and not much sand. The layout was simple but enjoyable.

The staff was pleasant and helpful and knew most of the golfers by name. They had a beer cart and you can buy beer at the club house-which is more of a storage shed than a clubhouse. They had food, burgers and such, that i did not try.

I would have spent more going to a driving range, so why not get some practice on a simple course and enjoy the day.

This is the nicest city maintained courses out of the three. It is very well maintained with great greens for an affordable rate. The layout is easy with tee boxes being very close. Great for new golfers and experienced as well with a few challenging holes. It can get busy at times but expected. I will be returning soon.

Greens were very good I just wish people fixed their ball marks as there were some on every hole.

We really enjoyed the course. Very long for slightly less than average golfer. But on this day my driver was working and made for a great day. Some fairways had a lot of clover but still okay. Very dry fairways but that is understandable. Have not had rain in a long time. Greens were great. Ranger was very friendly and nice to talk to. Would go back but hope my driver is working for me.

I haven't played Caz in 3 years due to it's busy play. Is tough at times to find a tee time and it's usually pretty slow play. Is well maintained for a municipal course.
This is a nice course with some difficult holes and some normal challenges, and will not challenge an above average golfer, but for the 1 or 2 time a week golfer, is a good place to play, if you're not in a hurry.

We had a great time. The ranger & check in person were great let us go early. Wish we had a course like this where we live. Price was very reasonable . If back there again would definitely go back. Thanks for a fantastic time.

Nice 9 hole layout with a challenging finishing hole! Staff very friendly and surpisingly good food at the snackbar!

Extremely slow pace and got yelled at for playing scramble style. Never returning here.

Nice City course. Well maintained. Some challenging holes. Quick pace of play. Good value.
