Rogers Park Golf Course

About
Located only minutes away from downtown Tampa, Rogers Park Golf Course offers easy access to Tampa International Airport and also the beautiful beaches of Tampa Bay. Although it has a convenient location near many attractions, it is secluded from the noise of busy streets and neighborhoods since the Hillsborough River almost completely surrounds it. The scenic golf course has water hazards coming into play on several holes and there are sand bunkers throughout. In addition to the course, Rogers Park is known for their extensive practice facilities. They boast of having one of Tampa's finest driving ranges and their three-hole course provides excellent short game practice.

Great layout but needs some attention.
Roger's Park is a hidden gem near downtown Tampa. The course design, pace of play and friendliness of staff are all outstanding. As a municipal course, it is a little rough in some spots. The bunkers are not well kept and the fairways have leaves that makes it difficult to find your ball at times. But the greens, though slower than typical private courses, are in quite good shape and fair. They are also home to the First Tee Organization, including a par 3 course that can be used by everyone. It is always fun to see the kids out there learning the game we love. For a no frills, fun day on the golf course, I recommend Rodger's Park.
Pace of Play
I was behind 3 straight foursomes that couldn't get the ball more than 100 yards off the tee. took 2 hours to get to the 8th hole.
Hidden Gem
The course and facilities combined with the awesome and outstanding staff has Rogers in my top 5 go-to courses. I just wish so many other people didn’t have the same view!
Rogers Park
Course in good condition. Hope they clean it up a bit more and have Marshalls out checking on people cleaning up their divots and they prepare for the annual tournament
Good day of golf
Restaurant service extremely slow, other than that, good time had by all.
Ok for first time golfers
This course was ok, if you are a first time golfer and are unfamiliar with what a decent course is. Good amount of par 4s, but the entire front 9 is a danger zone. It is right next to the driving range where there are no nets. On the whole next to the range good luck finding your ball or be prepared to duck due to the range ball's flying into the fairway while you play. Also each hole is directly on top of one another so not only do you wait for the players in front of you,
you have to wait for the players who hit their ball onto your hole as well. The whole place smells like a sewer. Would not play there again.
Mon fun day
Greens were in good shape but fairways and tee boxes weren’t. Pace of play was slow on Mon morning. Better days to come.
Fair course for High handicap players
Being used to excellent fairways, the grass conditions were poor when we played and much poorer than last year same period.
On the other hand greens were excellent.
The layout of the course is fine.
