Coyote Lakes Golf Club

About
Located in the west valley, the golf course at Coyote Lakes Golf Club combines a desert landscape and traditional design with scenic views of the White Tank and Bradshaw Mountains. Although it is modest in length and suitable for all players, the course is still an enjoyable challenge for even advanced golfers. The front nine is more difficult than the back nine with large greens and several contours. The back nine is also challenging though with several notable holes. The fairways are undulating on both and water hazards come into play on several holes. Coyote Lakes Golf Club's signature hole is the 14th, a par-3 hole that requires a shot from an elevated tee to a green that is well protected by two sand bunkers and a lake to the left.

always a pleasure
coyote lakes is a nice, steady course to fall back on. their greens are probably their claim to fame as they typically roll pretty true and consistent. fairways and tee boxes could use a little bit more tender loving care. if they want to set fees to the lower end of some of the medium heavy hitters, these should be addressed. that said, their price point is on the high end especially with that extra "fee" attached for ???. do not let the distance fool you as it plays longer than it reads on paper. pace of play was very good and as usual, we were paired with another fantastic 2 some-had a great time
A nice round, great conditions and golf but we would have enjoyed a beer after but the bar closed down at 4.
Great course, great game
Was a great afternoon round, pace was great a lil kid stole 2 balls lol and we shot pretty good!!
Staff was friendly and inviting
Great golf course
Great condition n layout. Course is narrow on some fairways so if you hit out of bounds you will lose balls. greens in great condition and pace of play was great. Everyone is always friendly n helpful!
Good Day on the Links
I played early (0545). There was a threesome in front of us on number one, but we didn't see them the rest of the front 9. We were slowed down by a twosome on the back nine (nine and diners?) who never looked backed and kept playing slow.
Tee boxes were OK, the fairways were good, and the greens rolled true although they were slow. The staff, both on the course and in the club house, were terrific. The food was good and reasonably priced. I would go back.
Great Course, crazy pin positions
Really a great golf club. Stuff friendly, design great, course in good shape. Just no fun with putting. If a course is that busy, don't put all pins in super crazy positions. Eather people have to look for breaks so much, that it takes forever, or you get frustrated and it takes forever because everybody 3-puts on every whole. Could have been a great day for golfing :-(
Great round of golf
We had a great time playing golf today at Coyote Lakes. Nice course at a reasonable price. Will definitely be playing here again.
Drive it straight
Overall the course was in very good condition, The greens seemed a little slow to me, but were fair. Three's more than a few holes that quite narrow off the tee so bring your "A" game with the driver at least. The only negative would be the wiffle ball driving range. Because of that it took me a couple of holes to get my driver dialed in.
Hidden GeA Hidden Gem in Surprise, AZ – Coyote Lakes Golf Coursem
I had the pleasure of playing at Coyote Lakes Golf Course, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and well-maintained grounds. The course itself is a perfect blend of challenge and fun, with a layout that keeps you engaged from start to finish.
The fairways are lush, and the greens are fast and true, providing an excellent playing experience. Whether you're a seasoned golfer or a beginner, there's something for everyone here. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a smooth round.
What stood out to me the most was the beauty of the course, especially the scenic water features and well-placed bunkers that add a unique character to the course. The peaceful surroundings and panoramic views make it a relaxing place to enjoy a day on the links.
If you’re in the Surprise area and looking for a fantastic round of golf, I highly recommend Coyote Lakes Golf Course. It’s definitely a hidden gem, and I can’t wait to return!
overall good will go back again
It was windy and I had not played here before so it was a guessing game as t where to hit the ball. Greens were in good shape and the one bunker I landed in was also in good shape. The tee boxes were not in good shape, patchy grass and a lot of sand in spots. Greens rolled nicely and rough was playable. A good value all in all but lots of older golfers playing so it was a bit slow.
Coyote Lakes Review
The overall course conditions were good for the price. Only complaint is the greens were extremely slow and bumpy. Ball did not roll true. Fairways were in nice shape. Greens need to be mowed and rolled.
