Excellent course
I wouldn’t pay prime time tee time pricing there to play, but the afternoon tee time Prius excellent. Extremely fair course to play, and the greens are generally in great condition.
Jack Gross
My 5th. time playing in the last few weeks. Course is always in Great shape. Played for the first time in the early 1990's, and have played over 100 rounds to date.
It was ok
I had the first tee time of the day, but they wouldn't allow me to use my range balls due to the darkness. Our group consisted of four singles, yet they made 2 of us share carts, even though there were plenty of carts available at the turn. Some of the hole placements on the greens were absurd—it's unreasonable to expect people to make downhill putts that roll off the green. The staff was very impolite besides the pro shop lady who was very nice. That is my biggest complaint. People are paying premium price to play a sub-par course, so everyone should be extremely nice and accommodating. This course used to cost $85 before COVID, but now the price has soared to $225 seemingly just because of the Disney is in the name. While I did enjoy the course, I wouldn't pay $225 to play here again.
Good value
Good value but would like cleaner grass around the greens; kinda choppy.
Expected a slow pace, but never waited once for all 18 holes. Beautiful course.
Very Nice
The course was in better condition that I thought it would be, I enjoyed it very much. The greens were in good shape but very little breaks. Very friendly staff.
Fun course but…S L O W
It’s a fun layout, greens were in good shape, not too fast (probably 9-10 on the stimp).
The pace of play was extremely poor. When we made the turn, there were three groups in the 10th tee and we waited on every single shot from there out.
Seems like everything is busy, congested and slow moving in Disney and the LBV golf course is no exception.
Nice Course, overpriced
Lovely course, well maintained, friendly staff. Greens good. No real complaints about the course or venue though I do feel it’s a bit pricey for what you get.
Don't book through GolfNow!
I payed almost $50 more per player for a "hot deal" on GolfNow than was available for a Florida Resident on the direct website. That website was also coincidentally managed by GolfNow but all of the times both before and after my scheduled tee times were only $121.
Mornings are the best
Teed off at 11:20am. Pace of play was great, course was in good shape. Had a hard time getting used to the speed of the greens (slower than used to).
Nice course, but…
Overall, ia nice course for the first time golfer. A plus that there was Nnot much water, and also no unfair surprise holes. My one major disappointment was that the gold tease that I played were not moved very far up from the white tees. This penalizes the senior golfer who relies on “seniot tees” to compensate for lost distance. Also the course was a bit too pricey for the value IMO.
As Expected
Disney is expensive, but many of our Disney experiences have been priceless, including playing golf at LBV:). The staff was very accommodating and friendly, the course was beautiful and well kept and the pace of play could not have been better. There were a couple extremely hard holes (e.g. a 205 yd par 3 from the senior tees) but otherwise the layout was medium/hard but fair. We will definitely be back!
A Gem!
First time playing this course. .Excellent condition tee to green. Very pleased with the whole experience. Would play it again.
Pace of Play Issues
We teed off right on time at 2:04pm. Sunset was 6:15pm so we were a little concerned about pace of play. Took 2 hours and 25 minutes to play 8 holes. We considered stopping after nine holes, but the ranger invited us to skip hole #9 and proceed directly to #10. We finished the back nine in 1 hour 45 minutes. Would prefer that the ranger ask the slow groups to pick up and move a hole instead of skipping a hole to pass a slow group.
Good day on the links
Met 2 good partners, good weather, course was in great shape.
Favorite course in the area.
Was very surprised
When I booked this I thought it was just another ove priced course in Orlando area. But was pleasantly surprised to see how nice the greens and fairways were, absolutely mint shape. Fun course to play as there are a lot of different hole types from dog legs, well placed bunkers and water to make it challenging enough for the lower handicap golfer. Even chatted with the superintendent on one of the holes and he asked me how I thought the greens were, you can tell he really cares about his work and it shows....Will definitely add this to the rotation on future trips.
Disney
LBV has a varied and nice selection of holes.the ranger was trying but pace of play was 20-30 minutes too slow. Waited on every shot. Greens need to be sped up a bit, even downhill putts had hard time reaching the hole. However, the weather, company, and overall atmosphere was very enjoyable
