Heritage Harbor
About
The Heritage Harbor Golf Club measures nearly 7,000 yards from the back tees and is one of the more challenging public course layouts in the Tampa Bay area. Four sets of tees have been incorporated into the design, making the course fun for golfers of all skill levels. The swirling winds and strategically located bunkers will play havoc with the players of these finely manicured links. However, the large greens may provide some relief. The premium on the championship course has been placed mainly on the short game. Winding through natural areas and cypress heads, Heritage Harbor Golf Club offers many scenic, unobstructed views. Seven of the eighteen holes have no homesites adjacent to the fairways, offering great, uncluttered golf.

have played there many times, always enjoy my round.
Good Greens
My favorite greens of the local public courses in the area. They rolled very smoothly and quick, but not crazy fast.
Fairways are pretty dry so we got long rolls on the tee shots and were sometimes able to roll up to the greens.
Interesting course
Have played here a few times. Fairways were a little dry and sandy this time. Got stuck behind a few slow groups, one of which did let us play through. Added two singles along the way who caught up to us because of the slow foursome.
We would play here again.
OhioTraveler
I’m traveling for a month throughout Florida and this area is a current stop. Went in w/o a tee time. Pro shop put me out as there were a few openings. Did not feel rushed. Employee was very polite. I enjoyed the scenery, challenges, and weather. Being from Ohio a few alligators added to the scenery. Course conditions held up to the summer wear. Only suggestion is to better label and provide better directions to hole 10 as I needed to ask a few for assistance. I did not have my wife present to guide me..or to call me inept. I do suggest this course to others.
Decent for price
Average Florida course for less than average price. With no marshal there are a bunch of older twosomes that don’t want to pair up. It will be a longer than average round.
My two cents!
For what it's worth. As much as I liked the layout, the greens are not my favorite.
Their condition was fine for the most part. But what I didn't care much for was the sizes.
Really really small in a lot of cases. If you gonna have a big course, we played it at 6100 (6500 adjusted) yards and while that doesn't sound overly long. That length combined with the smallish greens made it seem the course played much longer. The pin locations
on hole 1,2, back left on 3, 5, back middle on 10, 11 (was like a hot dog), 12 is very shallow, 13 (you can seen the green from the fairway , though I hit it pin high 10 feet from the hole, in several cases were cut in areas that were about 20ft deep. Note to self on 18 right of the green is dead!
I would play the course again and it was a good value for the $23.00 we paid.
It was a great dat
My brother and a couple of friends had a nice day out at Heritage Harbor. Course conditions were a little better on the front 9 but all in all pretty good and the staff was nice and helpful. Had some nice October weather
slow
Pace of play was horrible. Almost 6 hrs for a round. Hard to stay focused like that. Waiting on every shot. Have played here many times and like the course, but needs more course management.
Nice, Playable course
Definitely enjoyed our round and course layout was better than expected!
Great Course
Beginner golfer, this was my first proper round of golf. Course was in great condition and the weather was perfect. Group total was 2/3 players (one player only played a quarter of the round) and we consistently had people behind us, even letting two groups play ahead of us.
I would go again, although I wish there was just a bit more spacing between groups.
