Rating 73.5

This is the older, tougher brother at Revere Golf Club. The Lexington stretches out to 7,143 yards from the back tees and it has plenty of forced carries, shots up to raised greens and fairways that hold almost as many curves as Halle Berry. You might want to have a little of Paul Revere's can-do spirit to tee it up here.

The Lexington rarely gives golfers the same look twice. Water comes into play on only two holes and if one hole features a bunker challenge, you can bet the next will hit you something like desert brush. This is a grab bag of golf challenges.

"This is in the top-30 percent of Vegas-area courses," TravelGolf.com National Editor Tim McDonald said. "It isn't overly long, but the scenery is terrific and the course can be very challenging; it's one of the toughest courses in the area, in fact. If you're a fan of target golf, forced carries and serious elevation changes, you'll enjoy the Lexington course."

Bunkers

Bunkers need sand, what is in the bunkers is not sand but small rocks, hard on ckubs.

Sand traps

The sand traps need real sand. The sand in the bunkers is not sand it is more like small rocks. That is really hard on clubs, also their is the same rock type sand in the fairways and ruff. The course is in fair condition, lots of bare spots. Overpriced for course condition.

Nice track, dormant fairways were rough. Nobody fixes their divots.

I enjoyed the course, the fairways and rough were typical. The pro shop and restaurant are very nice. Seems to be a ton of older members. Not 1 person fixes their divots. There were dozens on each green. I had a 7am tee time so, they were the previous day/days. Very sad.

Great course layout. Pace of play at 4 hours was wonderful. Windy day made for some challenges but would definitely play again

Windy weather

The course is in good condition for February, outside of some sandy tee boxes. Lots of grain on the fairways, 1 inch thick green rough, super fast greens.

Layout is target practice. Lots of elevated tees. Rarely used driver. Tight elevated greens with bunkers, hazards and steep drop offs. Canyons lining some fairways challenged you off the tee to be accurate. You really need to be able to hit good approaches to score well here. Add what is often windy conditions and it's one of the toughest tracks in the valley. Far too many unrepaired ball marks.

Pace of play is bad. The course is difficult which means that higher handicaps will take long, and the course doesn't help that by spacing out tee times 9 minutes instead of 10. Additionally, there are several "cart path only" holes that added to the slow pace. 5 hour round, 2.5 hours each side.

Carts were good - white leather seats, cooled included bottled water, GPS had green slopes, distance from tee, and distance from center. GPS would show where you couldn't drive with a yellow outline, with the exception of being close to the green.

Did not get to try out the range, balls were included with your round. Mountain views every hole, strip views most holes. Far better value than neighboring courses, would play here more often if they improved pace of play.

Perfect Course Layout, Longest Rounds ever

Played the Lexington Course. An absolute masterpiece of a course design. Could be the best layout I’ve ever played. Smaller greens and narrow fairway, placement golf, tricky holes, incredible views of Vegas. This course has so much potential! Greedy though, course is going to be overbooked and the Rangers do a whole lot of nothing. Expect a 6 hour round here. Took 3 hours to play 9. Lots of Beginners on a tougher course. Waiting on every single shot. Only way I’d book a tee time again is if they can guarantee a round in under 5 and a half hours. There’s no reason this place shouldn’t have 5 stars other than their poorly run business.
