Golden Bear Golf Club at Indigo Run

5+ hours to play 18 holes unacceptable, they need a ranger, we waited on every shot, and the group in front of us was a 3some, the course itself is nice but just to darn long to play

Very nice course in good conditions. Greens were beat we have played this month
They have a leaf problem on some of the fairways but expect that is seasonal.
Staff was great and we will go back

Pace of play was slow! Greens were poor and cups were damaged around.

Excellent staff, very courteous. Course was in reasonable shape on the fairways and greens were good.

Always love Golden Bear. Course is in great March condition. Pace was good for a sunny day and busy course. Price on Golf Now was reasonable. Will be back when I can.

I agree with most of the reviews here: good layout, very good conditions, friendly staff, but very poor pace of play. The front 9 took 2:45, and we gave up after playing just 12 holes in 4 hours. Waited on nearly every tee shot. At times, we could see three groups ahead of us, all waiting to hit shots. Before we started, the starter and the pro in the shop were trying to reach the Ranger by walkie-talkie and cell phone, got no response -- I guess he quit and went home. We never saw a ranger. I liked the course, and would enjoy playing it again, but probably won't go back because of the overbooking and resultant poor pace of play.

This is a great course to play. Being a snowbird, the course was exceptionally nice for this time of year, especially since this year was cooler than normal.
Staff were very friendly & tee times were right on pace.

Nice course, no complaints, Pace play was a little slow, but that may be due to just slow players, not the course’s fault. We would definitely play here again..
