Breckenridge Golf Club
We played the Beaver/Bear Courses for a total of 18 holes on 8/13/20, then on 8/15/20, we played Elk/Beaver, these both had a great layout & views as well, a really fun set of courses. A must for any golfer to play these 4 courses.
Breckenridge Golf Club
We played the Beaver/Bear Courses for a total of 18 holes, a great layout, really fun set of courses.
Oxymoron Round of Golf
The course has just reopened for the year. The day is beautiful, the temperature is perfection , the grass is green and the tall mountains are still frosted with snow. In this setting it doesn’t matter how you play. The round lasted 3 1/2 hours and if you have never played the course shame on you. It should be on everyone’s list.
Great Course
I’ve managed to play this course multiple times, and each time has been great. The staff work hard to maintain fairways, as well as rejuvenate greens from ice damage from the previous winter. Pace of play at times can slow down, and for long hitters especially, this doesn’t help when trying to drive a reachable par 4. Overall, everyone is friendly, courses offer a variety of challenges, and would highly recommend playing.
Great course but a few issues
There was a weather event in the area last winter that damaged greens for most of the courses in the area. Breckenridge lets you know this and they say the fees are discounted accordingly. Maybe. It is a great Nicklaus layout and pretty tough. Beautiful scenery and stunning visuals. On this day the pace of play was incredibly slow. Waiting on every shot is no fun. Overall it is great and memorable golf experience.
Very nice, very challenging
Greens are fast! Can't beat the views. See Photos
Nice mountain course
Great views and vistas on this course. The conditions were very good, and the pace of play was nice.
Splendor
I have played beautiful courses before but this has them all beat. Prettier than the US Open courses that I have played or visited. Mountain beauty on a impeccable track.
Golf in Breckenridge
Really enjoyed my round of golf at Breckenridge Golf Club. Warm up was great and the round even better. First time playing and can't wait to get back there next spring to play again. Staff in Clubhouse and Restaurant were top notch....
Great round today
Enjoyed my first golf round at Breckenridge Golf Club!! Highly recommend if in the area! Perfect conditions today tee to green. Spectacular views!! Can’t wait to play again soon!!
Overpriced
You can have almost an identical experience at Pole Creek for 40-50 bucks less. This course is nice but to me all you are really paying higher prices for is the Nicklaus design. Play somewhere else, particularly if you are local and go to the mountains to play regularly at all.
The staff is a joke
From the cart barn to the "pro" inside, these folks clearly just want your money.
The golf is good, but they really ruin the atmosphere before you step foot on the first tee.
Not a classy operation to say the least.
Our playing partners were local, had the same opinion. They were wonderful to play with.
Great Mountain Golf
Played the Elk and the Beaver twice while on vacation. Beautiful golf course and friendly staff made for enjoyable round both times I played. Elk course is super tough, while the Beaver course is much more manageable for someone that doesn't get to play mountain golf courses very often. Greens were fair and in good shape. Fairways were in great shape as well. Price is kind of steep in my opinion, but compared to other courses in the area, you get the best value for your money. Definitely recommend playing if you are in Summit County.
Nice but rather expensive
Overall we had a good day. This is a tough course with really heavy tough. The staff was very good and helped us get in when the rain and hail hit.
The views on the Bear course are amazing!
A nice course but at $125... not cheap!
Mountain Vista
Challenging course with amazing vistas, thoroughly enjoyed the round!
Great course
Enjoyed playing this course - 27 holes. Challenging but playable. Pretty views all around.
Great Course
The course opened the previous weekend for the summer, that was hard to believe based on the conditions. The greens were in great condition and fast. Certain areas, just if the fairways were still very wet from the winter melt but the actual fairways were all very playable. All in all a great experience and I cannot wait to play again and include the Elk nine!
