Cool par three course
Executive course I at least play it twice a month very good course to practice your irons very well-kept greens R super fast and very tough but in excellent condition I’ve been playing this course twice a month for the last three years and it hasn’t made me a better Iron player
Fun for practicing your shots and learning the game.
I played the course for $14 bucks and continuous rounds since I’m a card holder. The course was walking only from all the rain we’ve had over the last few days but it was great since there were no other players but myself. I practiced all the shots I wanted with no interruptions. For the money the course is great for practicing and the leaves were blown of the fairways which help with locating your ball on hole 3, and 6. Pleas play this course if you need to practice or are learning to play golf. It’s worth the fee and will help you learn the game.
Fun Way to Kill 90 Minutes
Wednesday morning at 8 am and teh course was starting to get busy, so I started on #6 and had decent pace of play the way around. Some fun, albeit not challenging holes. Course conditions were fine.
This is a great way to kill a couple hours with buddies or go out and work on your iron game.
Good course to practice your irons
This is a short and flat 9-hole course. It has 2 par-4 holes with about 270 yards each. The remaining 7 holes are all par-3. The fairways are in good condition. The greens are slow, but in excellent shape. While the course's view is not beautiful, but there are enough green trees and fairways to make it pleasant. The course is easily walkable. This course offers pleasant view, decent fairways, excellent green, easy walk, and chances to practice your irons and putters at a very affordable price. Highly recommended .
Great course
I love playing the express 9 because of how simple but challenging. The course conditions were great. I just wish they extended some holes. There's a lot of open space between holes 7,8 & 9.
Family Fun
I take my kids out with me on the weekends and they love coming here with me. They can practice hitting at the driving range, putting range, and love to get out and ride around with me in the cart as I play my round.
Great place for the family to learn and play. Kids friendly. Good value for the $$
Pure Mud
Although we have experienced a heat wave as of late, the course was over saturated. The greens were very nice but the lack of a cart part caused my crew and I to navigate what seemed to be off roading or trekking through the mud while four wheeling.
If you are looking to work on your short game this is most definitely the place to practice, other than that this nine whole is not sufficient for someone that is looking to really drive the ball more than 200 yards.
I am new at golf but the Executive 9 really feels like it part of a cheap local muni or a place that is great for teaching young beginners. For me personally it was. It worth the money.
Course conditions poor
Lots of mud even though it hasn’t rained in a long time. T boxes were poor.
Bing Maloney - A nice golf course in the cernter of Sacramento
Bing Maloney has 2 courses, a short 9-hole, and a regular 18-hole one.
The short course is perfect for fine tuning your irons and putting. It is about 1,400 yards with 2 par 4 holes at about 270 yards, and 7 par-3 holes. The greens are among the best in Sacramento. They are well kept and true. The price is hard to beat. You can get golfnow.com price for as low as $8.50.
The long course is much longer, around 6,570 yards. Except for about 5 holes, most fairways are fairly wide and open, perfect for grip-and-rip golfers. The back nine is more challenging than the front nine, especially holes 10 and 11. Fairways and greens are fairly well-kept.
Bing offers good practice facilities. Beside two big putting/chipping greens, Bing has a a decent restaurant, and a nice lighted and shaded driving range. The range balls were in top condition the last few times I hit balls.
I have been playing both courses for the last 20 years, and I truly enjoyed playing at Bing.
Fun Practice Round
I played this course with my uncle at 5pm and the course was wide open. We enjoyed it as we finished our round in just over an hour. Easy course, the fairways are dry and add that extra roll on those par 4s. I was able to drive the greens on both par 4s. Greens play fast and could use a little water, but I can't complain about a $8.50 round. Avoid the bunkers at all cost, it's like hitting out of concrete. Staff friendly and helpful, and the practice facilities are great.

The course good for quick 9 holes for refreshing your golf skills when you haven't played in awhile and anytime you want to practice your short game.
A bit too slow....
Nice place to practice your short game, a bit slower pace though but still a good value. Would play this course again but on an earlier time....
Great beginner's course. Enjoy a round with your kid or wife.
The course has 7 part threes and 2 part fours . Greens are amazing. Fast and tricky. Practice your short irons and putting while your family member gets a fun golf experience. Great deals often available on golf now. Go have fun.
Good For Iron Play
First time playing the exec. course. Wanted to play a quick nine before dark and saw a good deal on golfnow. It is a very nice course to play your irons on. Has two holes that you can use your driver or 3 wood on if you are not a bomber. Greens were in good shape, bunkers were not too bad and the fairways were OK. Overall it is a nice course to practice on and I would play it again. It is a course that anyone can play, not very hard, a great place for beginners.
Poor Signage
Got lost twice -- extremely poor or completely missing signage showing next tees.
Old outdated golf course.
Golf cart paths are full of pot holes and water. Poor signage. Staff was friendly.
The course was I great condition
Fast pace, not crowded. Soccer golf players were not an issue. Good to have The City Play Card.
