River Run Golf Links

About
River Run Golf Links is a municipal course owned by the city of Bradenton. Unlike many others in the area, golfers won't have to worry about hitting homes on this non-residential course. The layout is player friendly enough for all skill levels to enjoy but it's also a fair test that is anything but boring. The two nines are referred to as the River Nine, the front, and the Pirate nine. The golf course is mostly straightforward and a pleasure to walk, although there are carts available. Ancient oak trees draped with Spanish moss provide shade and scenery throughout the course. Water has a prominent presence, coming into play on almost every hole. Some of the holes are tight and can be quite challenging but beginners can still approach River Run Golf Links with confidence.

Nice course with an average navigation
It was not so easy to navigate there for the first time
But everything else was pretty good
Slow Play
I think they should either spread tee times out a few more minutes, or move the tees on 13 and 14. It backed up 3 groups of golfers. We began getting bunched on the front nine but turned into a clog on back nine. Still had fun and met a great guy that was paired with my usual golf partner and i.
Good course in good condition
The greens were fine, fairways better than most around here at this price, tee boxes and sand traps good. The layout is interesting, definitely worth a look
Waited on every tee for 10-15 minutes
Way too slow and course is mediocre with tough conditions, ie, fast greens that don’t hold well
Tired Golf course
We paid $49 which was ok. Greens very dry and wouldn’t hold a ball everything went off the back. place was packed so we waited on every shot. quilt after 16 holes and 41/4 hours
