Good course
It could be improvements to this course other than that it’s OK
Ice Skating Greens
I’m 60 and a 15 handicap. I’ve played a thousand rounds in my life. At nice country clubs and all over the world. This place made the greens at the US Open seem slow. lol. I’m not even kidding. Was comical. A 3 putt was celebrated. Tee boxes are in horrendous shape but I’ll give them a pass given it’s late March. Otherwise, and I’m sure they can’t be this fast all the time, it’s a nice layout. Place def needs a facelift. Old gas golf carts and very basic clubhouse and the driving range mats are pretty bad as well.
Unfriendly starter! Disrespectful to Asian golfers.
I played golf at this course over 10 years never once I made comments about any staff and/or golfers at this course. However, this morning my wife and I were instructed by a starter to wait until our 11:10am tee time which we patiently waited while 2 golfers can join us. As 2 golfers came up each with their owned cart but was told they had to ride in one cart together (which was odd because a group of 2 golfers behind us each was allowed to ride their owned cart, they were non-Asian golfers). This was not the first time that I have noticed that this starter guy has been very unfriendly towards asian golfers and treated Asian golfers differently than non-Asian golfers. My disappointment with this starter is that he told us to go to the tee box at 11:10am but then suddenly he waved at 2 golfers which drove their cart by us to the tee box without telling us why I had to approach him and we did discuss and ended up to the general manger office to vent my frustrations. I play golf long enough to know how to respect the game, people and treat others as I want to be treated. I want to share what happened in hopes that all of us who loves to golf can be treated with respect regardless of race.
Slow and Real slow
Tee time 1110 finished1645, I liked the course and staff , but the super slow play was really annoying then throw in cold temp getting colder as darkness was on us at last two holes. This problem will probably be a major factor in coming back again. The lack of food options other than hotdogs at $6 each was also disappointing. I think the course just needs a little updating, if the was a $25-30 course then I would better understand. Heck a medium size bucket of balls was $10 large $15, I play three to four times and more a week, all over the country and internationally, the bones are at this course just needs to be reimagined as they say!!!
Great Course!!!
The course is well maintained, and reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and easy going. I enjoyed playing this course and plan to make this my go to course.
