Brooksville Quarry Golf Course

a nice little course, fun to play. it had rained hard the day before and the ground was wet.i liked the course.

I played this course with my 7 year-old daughter. The course was great for a kiddo starting out, not dropping a ton of money to allow them to brush-up on the basics of the short game. The #1 green is fantastic, and it goes downhill from there. They did a good job in trying to work some undulation in the greens. The Tee Boxes are hit and miss, the ones with mats need to be larger. Overall, for what we payed to play, you can't beat it.

Playing here was a last minute outing. It is close and affordable so we took a chance on it. The course was very nice with some interesting layouts. With most of the shots being shorter distances it is a perfect place to work on irons and wedges. I would definitely recommend this course to everyone.... or at least anyone interested in working on their short game. ;)

The course was in poor shape at best. There was packed sand with missing grass on most of the greens. Wet and soppy or bald and sandy tee shots when not on the mats. Tee boxes need work to be flatten out. Ridiculous to have your Tee Shot 3-4 inches above/below your feet. Needs work and time to get repaired. Good course for working on short game, but without a green to putt on, you are only getting the approach shots dialed in on these postage stamp greens...

Great place to work on your short game, almost whole course can be played with irons. Worth a visit

A short executive course with 2 par 4's included. A great practice course or beginners course. Golfnow deals bring it down to as low as $7 for 18 holes with cart. Can't beat that regardless of the conditions.

There are a few holes that you will play that I have never seen in Florida (1 and 9). Overall was a fun course but way to short with only having 2 par 4s and they were only 200 yards. Place looked super run down with spray painted orange golf carts and a run downed pro shop but the course was surprisingly well maintained. For $7 dollars for 18 holes and a cart it was a great value but not worth the hour drive I had to make to go again.

We played 18 holes,had a great time , The price was excellent and the course was challenging,If you like par 3 courses with a couple par 4"s thrown in ,you will enjoy this course.

The staff was great and this 9-hole executive course was a surprise. Although most holes were short, it was in and out of the woods with great varying dips and heights due to the fact that it was once a mined area.

was in poor shape , no grass in any area except the greens which were like shag carpet.....just a waste of time. I agree with former review what is tis doing on golf-now...never again......take your 7 or 9 dollars and go to MacDonald's you'll enjoy it more..

Very surprised that this golf is on the Golf now site. This is not a golf and it is hard to find.
Only one advice Dont spend time there.For a practice go to the driving range. For a fun place go River Golf but this is not a golf at all.

This course is good practice for targeting with your irons. Short par 3 holes with 2 par 4's. the elevation change on some holes are fun. I plan to take my granddaughter there. It is defiantly worth playing once & great for kids

Great place to work on the short game. Irons get a lot of use. Took a friend there for her 86th Birthday. She loved it. Got some pars and a Birdie!! Happy Birthday Gloria!!! Lots of fun. Ed

Nice course to play to challenge your short game. Carts are well maintained.

The Quarry is in the heart of Brooksville and exudes old town America friendliness. It is a 9 hole, Par 29 executive course, 1,264 yards from the tips. Sound easy? It's not. Fairways are literally in the woods, calling for straight or shaped shots. The hills must be close to 100 feet in elevation changes. Stray shots are gone. The greens are immaculate, large, firm, fast and deceptively undulating. Precise shots with proper trajectory to hold are called for. Misses can be chipped, but these are the hardest chips in golf, with greens running away, and fast. Not crowded. A great place to sharpen your short game.

The course is basically a par 3 course, but provides an excellent chance to test your short iron game over changing elevations. It takes about 1 hour plus to finish the nine hole course.

I love this course and drive almost an hour to get here. It is not fancy and it is only a par 29 9 hole. But it is a lot of fun and extremely creative and challenging in its own way. The entire course is built around an old limestone quarry. Some of the tee boxes are at least 30 feet higher than the green. It feels like teeing off a cliff. Fun and creative course I highly recommend. Not for every weekend, but for something different.

WOW, WE HAD SUCH A GREAT TIME GOLFING HERE, EXCEPT HOLE 9 OH WELL IT WAS A GREAT CHALLENGE, THE WHOLE COURSE i WAS JOKING ABOUT HOLE 9 LOL
