Can't beat the price
Good practice course
Straight forward, 1 dogleg hole, alot of gopher holes. Average about an hour to play a round (9) pretty quick.
Do not waste your time or money.
Nothing about this place is worth bringing your money. Save yourself the waste and drive somewhere else.
Great For Beginner and Intermediate Golfers
This was my first time playing at this course, and it was a decent experience for only $25 for a 9-hole round. The scenery is spectacular on a clear day, with plenty of ducks, squirrels, and geese around. However, there seems to be an issue with badgers on the course that will steal your ball if it gets too close to their burrows.
The sand traps are not in great condition; they’re hard and resemble dirt rather than sand. If it weren't for my GPS app, I would have been lost trying to figure out what hole I was on, as the signs are covered in graffiti and stickers.
Overall, I had a great time playing at my own pace, and I will be back again!
Terrible course and rude staff
Skip this place if possible. I paid $50 with cart and I was the worse course I’ve played in. The fairways are rough and the greens are even worse.
Lots of potential, poor upkeep
This would be a great course and facility if they only invested in its upkeep. Good variety of holes and distances. A good challenge, but the fairways are in such poor condition - yesterday there was plenty of fairway that is just straight dirt. The signs don’t really match the tees/distances. Overall, I’d want to play here again but the poor upkeep will probably keep me away.
Surprisingly Challenging
Yes, the greens are patchy and the sand traps are rocky, but I was surprised how difficult the layout was for a 9 hole. Water in play frequently and doglegs make the course interesting if you want to use short irons and play them. I lost 3 balls, and my beginner partner probably lost one on every hole, so beginners beware! A good number of long holes.
TLC needed
Course is fun and narrow. Lots of squirrel holes and construction on the fairways. I lost a ball down a squirrel hole on 9.
Overall a fun little course that plays in about an hour and a half to 2 hours.
Duck poop
First few holes were great. Overall course condition deteriorated after 4th hole. Ran into a coyote which would t leave us alone. Biggest complaint was too much duck poop to dodge.
Consistency
The Tee boxes were not consistent. For example... some holes had black, white, red. The next hole would have blue, white, red. Then the next hole would have black, blue, red. It makes it difficult for friendly competition. Maybe there is something going on that I am unaware of. I will say that the staff is so friendly and I look forward to coming back! Customer service is something that has been lost these days. Thank you for keeping up on this simple standard!
