Very high quality place to play
Very well designed place with everything. Definitely recommend it to anyone thinking about going should go.
Good as always
Stony Creek is always a good round of gold. My only complaint would be the leaves but I guess that’s to be expected this time of year.
Great tract
Friendly staff course conditions mainly good Pace of play was good The only issue was that due to recent heavy rains the rough was long which made finding your ball difficult at times even if you weren’t very far off the fairway. Other than that no complaints! The restaurant at the end was excellent!!
Beautiful views and great conditions
I love to play at Stoney Creek. The staff is friendly, the mountain views are beautiful, and the conditions are above average.
Best course in the area you can play.
Excellent views. Excellent course conditions. Average service. Was kind of bummed that the restaurant that's right above the pro shop sells beer and alcohol but doesn't allow you to take it on the course. It's kind of a bummer if you like drinking and swinging. Cheers.
Fun course to play
If you can play from the tip, this beautiful course has a lot of fun to offer.
Great but a little long
Course is in great condition and the greens were just right with speed.
Fantastic Conditions on Tuckahoe
I should preface this with that most of my playing experience has been in the Northeast in wet, boggy conditions and in Georgia in the extremely dry conditions. To play 9 holes on a dry midweek afterwards on this course was like being in golf heaven. The course is well maintained and with no one behind us in mid afternoon, of course, our pace of play was perfect for two of us. Our home course is very hilly and challenging, but Stoney Creek is much more so. The course seems to eat balls; even when we were sure we saw them land at the edges of the fairways, they had a way of disappearing. In spite of losing a couple of balls, I can’t wait to pass through here again and play this course.
Consistent
Have played Stoney, typically all 27, about once a month for the past few years. Course conditions tee to green are very good. A few clumpy winter spots just off the greens and fairways, plus dormant grass in the fairways, but still in nice shape.
Stoney CROOKS
They damaged my clubs and stole items from my golf cart when I was eating in the club house. We were the only people playing golf this day. Went in the clubhouse for 30 minutes to eat and when we came back all our clubs were thrown on the ground. Disrespectful and rude
