Lone Tree Golf Club

Everyone that played there seemed to be just going through the motions and had a very fast pace. I was taking my time and trying to enjoy a round at a great course I've never experienced. I was rushed, harassed, and lectured by the marshal 4 times. My girlfriend and i play golf regularly but shes brand new to the sport so she had to hit a few extra shots per hole. That being said, our pace was 4 hours and 25 minutes. 10 minutes are the turn for a drink refill, 3 minutes for bathroom break, 5 minutes talking to the marshal, and another ~5 minutes for two holes that were cart path only. Our pace was just under 4hrs, which the pro shop confirmed was the preferred pace. I felt unwelcome, harassed, and stressed. Needless to say, i won't be back.

I hope you like your 3 wood. I played from the Blue tees and my second shot was typically from 240 yards out. The traps are perfect, the rough is playable and the greens are fast. (just the way I like it) Bring a couple extra balls for the back-nine island green. Lots of fun and a good pace to finish in four hours.

We played befind a 5-some. waited on several holes on the front nine. On the back nine, we waited on all the holes. One of our foursome dropped after the first nine, so then 3 of us following. I would have been nice if they let us play through. And nicer if you did not allow 5-somes.

On another note, the tee spacing is appropriate.

First time playing Lone Tree and I really enjoyed the layout. The course was in great shape. The greens were smooth and fast compared to others I have played recently. Pace of play was good, finishing in just under four hours. I will be back.

Easy to find. Easy check in. Clean carts with the best YAMAHA SEATS and ice in chests and sand bottles. Water buckets for towels can’t take carts to lot Tees slightly chewed but good. Fairways good roughs mostly fair to good. Bunkers playable. Greens putt nice. Drinking water on course. Priced at 95 today and that’s enuf. Played in 3:50.

Lone Tree has the grounds dialed in perfectly. Greens rolled pure. Course was in excellent shape. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The only blemish is that Google says the restaurant opens at 6:30 for breakfast. That wasn't true. I was there at 6:45 and the cook wasn't there yet. Other than that, it was a very enjoyable morning.
