Nice Course for Both Locals and Visitors
Friendly and helpful staff. Course conditions were decent with average speed greens that had some slope and challenge in them. Fairways and Tee boxes were not quite as manicured as higher-end courses nearby (like Preserve or Fallen Oak) but still good value for what you get.
Driving range was a little worn on the grass but at least it wasn't mats. And they have a fairway bunker out of which to practice, so that's a nice touch (although no greenside practice bunker, just chipping area).
It was worth playing and at a reasonable price, I would stop and play again when in the area.
love it .... BUGS
I have played this course many times over the last 15 years. great course, staff, grille and bar. The only problem the last two times are the horrible amount of no see ums or whatever they are near the practice tees and chipping green. These things bite and hurt and then two days later they itch like crazy and stay very red for a week. There has to be something they can use to stop them. I hope I remember to spray up next time. BUG SPRAY recommended....
Great course
The staff, driving range, and course were excellent. I will play here every time I’m in Biloxi.
Beautiful day!
Love getting out to this course whenever I can. Greens, although punched recently (within the last month), seemed receptive to approach shots and were consistent in speed and break throughout the entire round. Only found one trap while playing, on the first hole, and it was maintained perfect. Can’t say enough about the course. Even got to witness a fight between folks on the 18th hole; put a nice little bow on the whole day! But that’s a story for another day. Enjoy your round at Shell Landing!!
Great layout
Greens were aerated about 5-8 days ago
Really enjoyed the course
Will come back
Great course!!
Love this course. Challenging for sure. Wish they would work on the cart paths tho. Overall improvements have definitely helped the course.
Super slow players
They allow groups of 5 and they stack on top of each other, so if you play as a single or double you’re easily playing a 5-6 hour round.
Vacation
I loved this course. I Played from the back tees and found it very challenging.
It played 700 yards longer than my home course.
The greens were fast which I like. Got out of position a few times and paid the price.
The overcast weather on an 88-degree day made it seem cooler than it was.
Missed a 7-foot par putt to finish the round with an 80.
I highly recommend this course if you are in the area.
I called to check course conditions / weather, guy talked for couple minutes, but never mentioned there was a tournament.
We had to wait on every hole, and everyone seemed to move as slow as possible.
Nice Golf Course
It's a nice golf course to play while you are in the area. The staff were nice and helpful.
