Wolf Creek Golf Course

I am not sure about some of these reviews. Sometimes I wonder if a neighboring course is trying to see a course fail by givinga bad review. I played WC back in March and they had several issues with course,with the main been that the greens were horrible. I played the course yesterday and it has come a long way. The greens are in much better shape along with the fairways. The bunkers are in better shape also but still need some attention. And last there are 6 tee boxes that need alot of attention. I will definitely put WC back in my rotation of courses to play. All they need now is clubhouse that serves alcohol and hot food. Good luck!!

The course layout is challenging for beginner. It is in great condition with reasonable price. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I spent Friday morning playing Wolf Creek and I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised! From the moment my party walked in the door the WC staff shined. Cliff & Denise make quite the comedy duo. The course was in fantastic shape and views were amazing. The greens rolled slower than expected considering the presentation, but I’d take beautiful slowish greens over fast inconsistent greens every day. We also arrived a bit earlier than our reserved time and the starter did his best to accommodate us. If you’re in the area anytime soon give it a try…you won’t be disappointed!

Everything about today’s golf experience exceeded my expectations. Denise (manager) was cordial, friendly, and simply amazing (quite humorous also I must add). Shannon (cart girl) was on point and made several visits to our crew to make sure we were properly hydrated. The entire staff was outstanding. The course is very scenic, perfectly landscaped, and challenging. There’s all types of looks for every skill level. The greens play a little slow so you’ll have to adjust if you’re accustomed to fast greens. I definitely plan to play this course again when I’m back in town. Wolf Creek is a howling great course. Play it…you can thank me later!

Played there August 15th. Course was well maintained, in fact as we played some holes were being serviced. Golf carts are out of this world!! Maps and distance were on the screen in the cart. Only draw back is, if you're new to the course, the cart will stop if you are in a restricted area in the fairway.
Most importantly was the great customer service at the front desk! Denise was very welcoming to us. I left a putter cover on one of the holes, left my info for her to call me if returned, and she did. And I believe she stayed a few minutes past her shift to do so. Overall great experience there. Can't wait to play there again.

Had a great time here from the moment I walked through the front door. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Great value for the money. Course is in great condition. The new golf carts have gps and are powerful. I will definitely be back and invite all my friends

The greens were in excellent shape. The fairways were in decent shape. Overall a great round on a steamy Saturday!

Course is in great shape! GPS carts. Was pretty open but we played on a Friday afternoon and it was raining that morning. Course plays super long; driver can be used on every non par 3 for the most part. Greens were great and challenging. Will definitely be back!

The staff was awesome and the course was in great condition.

Staff there is awesome. Greens are well kept as are tee boxes. Range is okay. This place needs a beer / liquor license but other than that it’s actually pretty nice. Denise at front desk is very friendly.

Good to see the course getting better. We did leave our GPS’s on the carts. Our fault but hopefully they turn up!

We got there at the end of a storm and they let us play. Halfway down the first hole they call us back in after some lightning. We see on the radar that it’s passing so we wait it out, and after 10 minutes my buddy finishes the hole. The ranger comes out and yells at us about how they’re closing the course and we won’t get a rain check even though the storm is over and the weather is now beautiful. Clearly the staff just wanted an excuse to go home. This is the second terrible experience I’ve had here. Last time I played the conditions were so terrible they had a “green” spray painted onto the fairway.

The course is in good shape except for the tee boxes. They need more sunlight for the Bermuda grass to grow. They have new carts with a GPS in them. However, if you go a little off the fairway the GPS will not allow you to go too far. It’s kind of aggravating

Great value for the dollar and the challenge! Absolutely love the condition of the greens!

Personally, I am not going to come back. Pace of play is terrible. The guys that regularly play there are awful and have no etiquette.

The newer greens are still slow, but you can tell after another season of growth, they're going to be excellent. Course in good shape. Staff was friendly. Played in 3:30.

I really enjoyed my round of golf yesterday. To my surprise, the greens are in the best shape ever. I’ve been playing golf at Wolf Creek since 2005 and the greens have never been this good. I love the layout of the course. The fairways are in pretty good shape; some of the tee boxes need a lot of help (balled spots covered with sand); bunkers are well-constructed; but the greens are in unbelievable shape.

Course was in much better condition than my recollection. Fairways were firm, rough was fair and greens were rolling true. This course is a true test of shot making skills given the number of blind shots and forced carries.
