Fast-paced 9-hole round.
Friendly staff as always. Pace of play was quick. Gteens were in good shape.
Good reasonably priced
Water was not a big treat if playing from the white tees. Greens were unpredictable and in very average condition.
Course is overpriced
Considering the overall conditions of this course the price paid is much too high.
Beautiful golf course
We an amazing round of golf, fresh air , 15-20 deer running around, alligators laying in the sun! The course was very nice well taken care of !I can’t wait to play the forest side
All things considered...
Needs rain and better grounds keeping but Overall if you can pay under 40$ it's OK. If paying full price look elsewhere right now.
Probably won’t golf here again
Course has potential but far from reaching it. Tee boxes and fairways are fried. Weeds growing on greens. Pace of play is one of the worst I’ve seen. Took about 6 hours for 18 holes. Waited 10-15 minutes before teeing off on each hole. Could be a very nice course but it’s not. Staff is friendly. Only positive
Mismanaged
Got the first tee time in the morning only to be put behind multiple groups after the turn. The course messed up and sent the early groups off the wrong tee apparently. In stead of adjusting they made it the problem of their customers. Turned the round into a 4:45 round. It’s bad business to make your mistakes the problem of your customers. On top of that the course wasn’t in great shape. The greens were decent and quick but the fairways and bunkers were not well kept at all. Don’t recommend.
Very poor green conditions.
Overall the course has a nice layout, played the Forest course 6 weeks ago and enjoyed the last 10 holes. The Lakes course has a lot of houses around almost all the holes and every green had significant damage, be it bald patches or deep ruts. Tee boxes need repair as well. There are lots of courses locally that are in better condition and $15 or more less per round.
Lakes Course
Greens in good condition
Fairways mostly in good condition, they are working on a few.
Glad to see course back in good shape.
Terrible!
Played the Lakes course. It is in awful shape. The tee boxes are ragged at best. The fairways are bare, rutted and a mess. And all of that for $75 per person. Don’t waste you money in this course. It is a shame!
Cart path only because of heavy rain the night before. Course needs some improvements with lots of bare patches. Greens were OK.
Nice course, predictable, few restrooms
It is a nicely kept course with plenty of trees and water hazards where the sides are heavily sloped to the water. Most of the greens are the same ( raised green protected by front left and right bunkers). Few interesting changes in elevation.
My biggest complaint is there is only one restroom on the course that you encounter after hole 2 and hole 15.
Great Course!
Have played The Eagles' courses quite a few times this year - this time scheduled Lakes but we switched to Forest! Fairways and greens are still going strong despite some heavy traffic and those that can't seem to follow the 90-degree cart rule! Oh well, really love the layout and seeing the wildlife (deer, turkeys, birds). Get out and play this course - Eric, John and staff will always treat you well!
