Seaview - The Pines Course

About
The lesser known of the two 18-hole courses at the Seaview is the Pines Course. It originally started as a nine-hole course but another nine-hole course was added later and the two courses were eventually combined to form the Pines Course. The course has a par of 71 and it is 6,731 yards from the back tees.
Seaview's Pine Course doesn't provide scenic views but it does offer a good game. Some even prefer the Pines course because of its quiet location behind the resort's hotel and also because of its more challenging features. The golf course has tight fairways lined with trees, medium-sized greens that are undulating, and strategically placed bunkers.

Love Seaview Pines
Great, challenging course. Spring and fall are great times to get a great rate.
Great Course, but….
Booked a round of golf for my son and I. We arrived early and had an excellent (!) lunch in the Grill Room. After lunch, we checked into the Pro Shop for our round of golf 15 mins early. Unfortunately, we were teamed up with two older gentlemen. While they were personable and nice-they played extremely SLOW and were holding up our whole round of golf. At one point, and after holding up two 4somes behind us for 3 holes (on the front 9 btw), we made mention to the gentlemen to let the groups behind us to play through-so as not to hold them up. Their response was, “let them wait”. Instead of finishing up 18 holes in 3.5-4 hours, it was 5 hours later that we finished. This experience was in no way Seaviews fault as we kind of expected to be teamed up with 2 more people. However, the experience wasn’t a good one. I’ll look forward to playing this course again with my son, but I hope it’s with faster players who don’t mind letting others play through and exhibit golf etiquette and respect for other players.
winter condition
everything is OK for this time of the season. all grass are in light brown color & putting green is very bumpy coming from last year aeration. 3 1/3 star ish for the Sea-view Pine Course as of 3-3-29-25 with a gift of 75 degreee weather day. keep in mine, it is all have to do begining of golf season.
Seaview Pines is beautiful
A choice course in the AC area. Occasionally, as in this instance, one can get a great rate. Did so through GolfNow.
Throwing Clubs
I’ve played both the Pines and the Bay many times I was paired with a twosome who told me they were member
One of the Members cursed after every shot and threw clubs all thru the round not fun
Sand Trap Galore
Course was in good shape for the time of year. Be careful of all the bunkers have your sand wedge ready to go. We had an absolutely beautiful day to play. Course is challenging but fair. I loved it and will be back
Not worth the green fees
The Pines is not a $80-120 golf course. Cart paths, tee boxes, bunkers, and rough are terrible. Public courses are better by far for the money.
Amateur mistake
Embarrassing, situation was my first experience using golf Now. The pro and young assistant’s probably had a good laugh about it, at my expense! I am very sore about the whole experience!
Duped
I am a male 70 year old senior golfer who can still play to a 8 handicap from the senior tee but I wasn’t alerted by any staff to the facts about women’s tees not existing so when I was introduced to the three women comprising my foursome I thought fine, they’ll play from the women’s tees and I’ll play from the senior tees . So when we arrived at the first hole some confusion ensued when they realized there were no red tees and they would need to play from my tee box, which put me in a very awkward situation where I assured them all was well, I would play from the men’s tees After seven holes , I excused myself, drove to the pro shop and asked to speak to the pro to whom I expressed my displeasure with the situation of not being able to enjoy the course from the senior tees because the women clearly didn’t want me on their tee box and the men’s regular tees takes the enjoyment away because more than half of the par 4s are unreachable for me and that was why I quit after 7 holes and was unhappy, to which Jeff replied about how the usga doesn’t require women’s tees and was there a problem with the men’s tees and shrugged his shoulders while I thanked him, turned around and left!
