New Favorite Buffalo Course
The Links at Ivy Ridge is my definitely my new favorite public access course in the Buffalo area. Course was in great shape, and the layout was interesting. Will definitely be back.
Great Day On the Links
Despite a rough day hitting the ball, I still had a time playing the Links at Ivy Ridge. The course was in great condition and we played at a decent pace finishing in about four hours. Defiantly a challenging course with some very long pars fives. However, I will one hundred percent be back in the future.
Solid Links Course
Was able to sneak on while it was hot and windy in the late afternoon. The course was challenging with those conditions, as it was quite firm as well. The course provides a yardage book with the scorecard (something I've never seen before) and it was very helpful, even with GPS on my phone. The greens are HUGE so make sure you hit to the right spots/sides or you may have some long putts like I did. Some greens have several ant hills, so hopefully, they do not do too much damage in the near future. There is plenty of tall fescue, sand, and water waiting to collect errant shots as well. Overall it was very solid from tee to green, and a good value for a weekend afternoon. I'll be back when I visit the Buffalo area again.
Great Course
Wonderful course. Very well maintained. Challenging layout. Best course and value in 2017.
One of the best in WNY
Fairly difficult course, but lots of fun and great conditions. Well maintained and very friendly staff.
Excellent day of golf
I've wanted to play this course for quite awhile, but finally got the chance. It was every bit as good as I was told, beautiful fairways, challenging layout, lot of sand traps, excellent greens. The course isn't good for the beginner because there's lots of fescue and water, so it's much better for the intermediate or advances golfer. It has a beautiful clubhouse and the staff is extremely friendly, definitely a must play for the avid golfer.
Wny's Best
Without a doubt this is the best public access course in WNY. Sometime when you have some time ask about the construction of the course. The fairways are in great condition and the greens are very challenging. Some are extremely large and will give nothing but a G.I.R., and also maybe a 3 putt. The signature par 5, 6th hole is a big 3 shot hole for most amateurs. there is plenty of mounding and nary a level lie. Have fun and play before the rough gets too high !!!!!
