Ballindalloch Castle Golf Course

About
Ballindalloch Castle Golf Course, with its nine holes and 18 tees, provides a fair test for golfers of all standards. The golf course is set on the banks of the Avon River, among 150-year-old trees and with marvelous views of the surrounding purple heather-clad hills and native birch woods.
This Ballindalloch course was designed by Donald Steel and Tom Mackenzie, both internationally recognized golf course architects. They created a heady mix of challenging golf and aesthetic appeal, just as they have done at their other famous Scottish design, the Carnegie Course at Skibo Castle.

Sunday Golf
Had a lovely day out at Ballindalloch golf course, the weather was perfect and the course is very well manicured, its a lovely walk and the course is not steep. The clubhouse is small but very nice and the gentleman on duty was very friendly and welcoming. We had coffee and biscuits before starting the the 2nd nine holes, we have played it a few times and will certainly be back.
Great day out
A lovely but tricky 9 hole course, the tees were totally different the second half making it more like 18 hole course I would recommend this course
Lovely but tough.
Great course but not if you aren't a long hitter. Most holes 360 yards plus. The two tee aspect per hole is a good idea as somebody of the different tees make the outlook very different. The clubhouse is nice inside but lack of food even something basic like bacon rolls is poor. Specially when there isn't anywhere else nearby to get a bite before the round.
Ballindalloch golf course
A brilliant course, fantastic weather and a good test of golf.the course was in excellent condition and the greens were brilliant.cant speak highly enough of the course.will definitely be playing there again.
Hidden gem
Very early in the season and course still a little damp but a lovely layout and a challenging course.a great day out and staff were lovely.we will be back again.give it a try as you wont be dissappointed.
Excellent
This is a must play course. It was in superb condition. Although only 9 greens the 18 tees mean that as you go around again you get a different outlook. Staff were very welcoming & friendly. I will definately be back.
