Great Place to Play a Round of Golf.
Have played here about five times this year and the conditions are always great. All three 9 hole course are great but, the East is for sure my favorite. (1-9 at Terry Hills). I also love the fact that the East nine has 3 par threes, three par fours, and three par fives.
Terry Hills
Me and my Buddies were finally able to get out for our first official round of the season. Terry Hills is known for being open as long as theres no snow on the ground and the course is usually our Go-To course for the start of the year. The course conditions surprised us. Out of the 18 holes we played there were two that were in rough shape. And keep in mind that it snowed on Friday!! Great Job to the design team because the course obviously drains well.
Price - 7/10 ($35 for 18 holes with a cart)
Staff - 7/10 (Friendly and Knowledgeable)
Putting Green - 3/10 (more of a chipping green, no holes, far away from everything)
Course Condition - 8/10 (Great condition for being the first round of the year)
Course Layout - 5/10 (Standard Layout, not too many dog legs or blind shots)
Greens - 7/10 (good Condition, tricky slopes)
Course Difficulty - 6/10 (Short course)
Pace of Play - 10/10 (dont recall waiting long on a single hole)
Views/Scenery - 7/10 (Especially wooded area, probably a lot nicer views when the leaves are there)
Food/beverage - 6/10 (Standard turn)
66/100...... Not bad for it being the first round of the year.
Fun and easy
This 9 is quite short and easy and there is not too many holes that an advanced golfer can even find to double bogey. Conditions are nice and the greens role true. You will love the 4th hole of this 9. or (13th) of east combined.
Easy
This 9 is fairly easy for any golfer. the course stays pretty wide open all throughout, it sure isn't too long of a course and has some birdie able holes for a average over bogey golf golfer.
I would suggest this course to most anyone I know
Nice greens, good pace of play, I have played this course many times over the last ten to twelve years while visiting western New York. Its always in great shape
