Hamilton Golf Club

Very warm welcome from members and staff. The course was in fabulous condition and all greens were on despite recent heavy rain. A little standing water in a couple of areas but not enough to score less than excellent for the overall condition of the course. I can imagine the course being amazing in the height of summer. It's no surprise that there is a long waiting list to join. Thoroughly recommend this course to anyone with a challenge for all levels and flat enough to be enjoyed by everyone.

Staff were very welcoming and the course was in great condition. I would highly recommend a visit to Hamilton Golf Club. A very enjoyable round of golf.

Played the Hamilton golf course this afternoon, course in very good condition green is fast. Highly recommend. The course is in marvellous condition at the moment with true and fast greens and immaculate fairways. The courses challenge lies not in its length but the clever pin placement and strategic bunkering. The course demands you to be at the top of your game if so, it can be very rewarding.
Most of all however as a visiting golfer without a club attachment yet, it is the warmth and general sense of encouragement that makes this course special, from Derek the pro through every member it has been my pleasure to encounter, through to green staff and the catering team, everyone deserves a thank you. This is a golf club it will be my privilege to join.

Great Parkland course. Course in terrific condition, greens were tremendous. Clubhouse was lovely & the pro in the shop was 1st class. Wee hidden gem. Will definitely be back 10/10

From the minute we arrived we were made very welcome.
Some really nice holes.Never used the clubhouse but it was very busy from what we could see.We will definately return

Was not told by starter /pro that 3 holes were not in play ..Only told that matts were needed as course was extremely soft..Course shouldn't have been open..Cracking course but poorly presented..understandable as time of year ..More disappointing was not being told some holes were out of play and no food facilities as clubhouse getting renovated..Poor value at £20 ..April certainly fooled us..

Looked forward to playing this course as its meant to be great course, arrived, pro was helpful, tied off and got 4 holes round when we got held up.. by juniors.. as we looked across the rest of the course it was littered by 4 ball juniors and there parents. Small kids.. pro never uttered a word when we arrived that there was a junior day on or even gave us advanced noticed when we booked during the week. Course itself was soaking in parts, very disappointed about the lack of warning as we would have tryed it on a different day rather than playing 8 holes in total skipping across the course to try get away from the juniors as there were groups queing up at each hole.. one hole we counted 4 groups of 4 waiting.. junior day isnt a day to have adults or visitors out as there is no way you can play a decent round waiting 30 mins at each hole to tee off.

A cracking course - great layout & in excellent condition. First time I played & will def play it again.
