Fantastic course. Excellent condition. Some very challenging tee shots and approaches, will be back 👍
Strenuous Delight
The course starts of amazing with a fantastic first 5 holes then it goes downhill for there, 7,8,9 you dont need golf clubs you need climbing equipment, long hilly holes and not enjoyable to play for me anyway.
I would not rush back to this course however guys this is only my view as I dont like playing on hilly courses and that’s just my preference.
Course is great condition though from Tee to Green, we had a rather annoying green keeper who followed us for 6 holes and was around the greens for all holes and showed little courteous whilst we were shooting towards the green, its was very off putting and intimidating as we felt we had to hurry the shots as he was eager to back doing his job so i thought this was rather poor
Great wee course
Got caught in heavy rain at the turn but this still couldn’t spoil the day. Lovely layout and greens were in great nick. Pro was really helpful when we arrived. Will be back
Great course
Friendly staff
Well stocked pro shop
Great condition and great value
There is 2 hills for the less abled but there’s buggy’s for hire ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Worthwhile visit
Not the longest or trickiest of courses but a nice place to be. Staff and members very friendly and the course in very good condition. I played rotten but enjoyed my visit. Thank you Elderslie G.C
Brilliant course
The best course I’ve played to date. Normally play within south Ayrshire (Troon courses) but this is the first time playing out with Ayrshire and it did not disappoint 5stars all round will definitely be back and for £20 hot deal. There are some very big hills on this course so if you can get a buggy I would recommend doing so.
Hidden gem
I wouldn’t have known about this course without consulting GN for the first time. At the price, I wasn’t expecting such a well presented course. Great condition enjoyable layout.
5 star
Bacon roll was excellent
Course was Brill
What a place
Worst golf experience
Slowest pace of play I've ever played multiple 4 balls, very unfriendly, worst golfing experience I've had
Elderslie
Absolutely stunning fairway to the first green, inviting and deceptive. Not disappointed with the tee or approach to most holes however the time of year maintenance was starting so some of the greens were rightly scarified ,just poor timing on our part. Long course through some lovely scenery with a design that suits golfers of all levels, would return for sure in summer .
Waste of Time
Held up behind group of 4 and group of 2, waiting 5 mins to play a shot, decided to quit at 4th hole as just too slow play. Paid £27 for 4 holes.
Top notch day out
Playing on a cool, calm, dry day is always a good start. Course, fairways and greens were in good nick. Fairways are wide and greens large, a nice combination for we who have a tendency to spread it about a bit. The generosity of the fairways means I don't have anything to say about the rough. Found some first and second cut rough which was comfortable enough to get out of but never so far out to be in any deeper stuff. Really enjoyed this and even though I prefer to play new places I'll be having another shot on this soon enough.
